"Good German restaurant in broader Springfield metro area. The selection of German beer on draft was great. The bar tender was fantastic and knew the names of all the locals at the bar area what they all drank. The house fresh made potato chips with dip was outstanding surprise perk sitting at bar area. I ordered the Munich Platter which had pork shank, bratwurst, and chicken style schnitzel with white sauce. The chicken schnitzel was very very good, the bratwurst with gravy sauce was good, but for sure needed the horseradish or ground mustard sauces. The pork shank had a little farmy aroma and was a bit chewy wasn 't as tender as expected. The red cabbage and kraut was very good though helped. I would for sure try the Schnitzel platter or other schnitzel options next time."
