"I recently ordered food from this restaurant, including the chicken pot pie soup. When I took the food home and started eating the chicken pot pie soup, I found a 4-5 inch long piece of thin plastic in my mouth. Thankfully, I was able to remove it before swallowing it. I immediately tried calling the restaurant to inform them of the issue, but the phone was not accepting any calls. I tried multiple times, but still had no luck getting through. I hope that no one else had the same experience of finding plastic in their soup. Overall, the service for this takeout meal was disappointing, but the atmosphere and food were both rated highly. The price per person was $10-20. Service: 1 Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5."

"My partner and I ate here yesterday for the first time and overall it was a disappointing experience. We saw all the positive Google reviews and considering it's just down the road from my apartment, we decided to give it a try. I ordered a vegetarian sandwich with zucchini while my partner ordered the Carmela sandwich along with a side salad from their salad bar. Although the employees were friendly, the service was pretty quick, and our orders appeared appetizing, most of the food unfortunately lacked flavor and was pretty bland. My sandwich was soggy and didn't have really any distinct flavor. The Lay's jalapeno potato chips I had with it had more taste! The salad wasn't anything special, the olives and artichokes from the salad bar tasted like dish water, and my partner and I both agreed that his sandwich tasted overwhelmingly salty. You couldn't get any real distinct flavors from the different meats in the sandwich either. The amount of saltiness in his sandwich also left him feeling poorly for hours afterward. A little side note...he and I also noticed that despite them having several employees working at the time and business being pretty slow (there were only maybe 2-3 small parties including us dining there), a few tables had not been cleared off and cleaned for most of the time we were there and one of those tables had dirty dishes sitting on it since we arrived. I essentially wasted over $9 on a sandwich I could make 10x better at home for a lot less and my partner wasted around $15. We will not be returning and definitely do not recommend. There are so many better places to get a sandwich or salad in Tucson!"

"I have been coming to this restaurant for years and have always been satisfied. However, during my recent visit, I was disappointed to find that the prices have increased significantly. We ordered a bowl of soup, two manager specials, and a cheese platter, which now cost as much as a steak dinner. Additionally, there was a misunderstanding with the cheese platter for my 5-year-old, as they charged extra for shredding the cheese without mentioning the additional cost. This resulted in a $10 cheese platter for a child, which was unexpected. I was disappointed by this lack of transparency and may consider trying other restaurants in the future. I also noticed that the bathroom could use some cleaning."
