"Oh boy, do I have a nostalgic story for this place. To many, it 's just a regular chicken shop, but to me, it 's a shining beacon on a hill.Back in my glory days at RU, I used to DJ on the weekends at Scarlet Pub. After a long night of spinning the hottest freshest beats RU has ever heard, I was ready to retire my equipment and grab some grub. At 3AM EST, Rutgers is thriving especially the pizzerias (no surprise since if you 're awake at 3AM on a weekend, you 're definitely drunk and getting pizza . However, rather than taking the pizza route, I developed an interest in late night chicken. I remember when this place was first built it looked cool, so I went inside. Pretty basic interior and fellow college kids working there. I remember ordering the sweet chili wings and losing my mind. The crisp and the flavor were paired so well. I even came back during the day (when I was a bit more... clear headed and the chicken still delivered!! I may be expressing too much here, but sometimes I would eat the chicken in bed and fall asleep with the chicken next to me waking up to a graveyard of chicken. Definitely made me reconsider my life decisions, but still doesn 't take away from the flavor! Haven 't been here in a while, but I fondly recall these memories :"
