"I made reservations for 10 am for 2 to have brunch for my significant other’s birthday at a local restaurant. I thought that since it was a new spot in my area that we could go there to patronize them and get a new experience at the same time. So tell me, someone PLEASE tell me, why was it that when we arrived at 10, the place wasn’t even open?!?!?! I mean why would their website allow me to make reservations for 10 but they were just beginning to set-up when we arrived? Luckily, we were able to salvage the birthday celebration by making our way over to the Real Milk Honey for a delicious brunch and I am so happy that we did because it worked out wonderfully! You never get a second chance to make a good first impression and fortunately, the Real Milk Honey made a great first impression so we will definitely be going back! Our server was named Unique, and her name was appropriate for the experience that we had. She was personable, friendly, attentive, prompt, expedient and very professional………just like the restaurant! The vibe and ambiance were on point. The turnover rate from placing our order to receiving our food was VERY quick, which we loved. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. The price was kinda steep (which is why they only got 4 stars, but we did have a carafe of mimosa’s so there is that) but it was worth it just to recover from that waste of time at the restaurant that we were initially planning to visit. I had the surf and turf, and my 2 protein options were grilled lobster tail and shrimp, and I added cheese eggs (which were not the best which also added to the 4-star rating). Nevertheless, my brunch mate had the chicken biscuit breakfast, and it was all very tasteful and delicious. I can’t say enough good things about the Real Milk and Honey, and I We will definitely be going back. One restaurants loss is now The Real Milk Honey’s gain!Kid-friendliness: There were families present with small children"
