"Since I didn't want the egg foo young to sit for that long and get cold, I decided to order another entree. The waiter communicated my request to the chef, who was sitting at a table nearby. To my disbelief, the chef refused to make anything else, insisting he didn’t want to waste the food. The waiter explained my concerns about the egg foo young getting cold, but the chef remained dismissive.
As I listened to this exchange, I felt completely disrespected. When the waiter brought the egg foo young to me, I told him I had heard everything and found the chef's attitude unacceptable. I didn't want the food anymore and only wished to pay for my egg roll and drink. I ended up taking my drink to go, eager to leave.
I’m still shocked that I was told I couldn’t order what I wanted to eat, especially after paying for it. I will never return to this restaurant or the lounge in the back. I won’t recommend this place to anyone and plan to share my experience with others."
