"A friendly young Chinese woman named Nana took our order. We chose Chicken Curry, Vegetable Lo Mein, Chicken Teriyaki, and Crab Rangoon. To our surprise, the food arrived in under 10 minutes, which made me wonder if some items were just reheated.
The Chicken Teriyaki pieces were large and juicy, but a bit dry and chewy. The Chicken Curry was served in an overly sweet sauce with no spice at all, which disappointed my partner, who loves chicken curry. The Crab Rangoon was slightly under-fried but still acceptable. Unfortunately, the Vegetable Lo Mein had very few vegetables.
Since moving back, we haven’t found a Chinese restaurant that consistently serves great food; it’s generally just okay. Although the portions were generous, they didn’t meet our expectations in terms of quality. I would have rated Yang Ming II four stars, but due to the overly sweet and unspicy Chicken Curry and the lack of vegetables in the Lo Mein, I can only give it three stars. We believe that the high turnover of chefs in Chinese restaurants contributes to the inconsistency in their food.
The search for a good Chinese restaurant continues! On a side note, the restaurant’s owner should consider fixing the unsightly, crumbling brick wall at the entrance."
