"My evaluation of this restaurant is fair, mainly due to one poor dish and two average ones. The swordfish was terrible, leaving a lingering unpleasant aftertaste, and it was served with slightly warm, mostly undercooked vegetables. The other two entrees were just average. However, the sushi was excellent. The location is great, and most of the other restaurants nearby were busy, while Ru Sans had few customers, which may indicate something is off. As someone who visits Japan ten times a year, I had high hopes that Ru Sans would be a standout among Nashville restaurants. The waitress was polite and attentive, even offering me a 25% discount on the swordfish, which I barely touched. Unfortunately, I never saw a manager during my visit. I won’t be returning."
