"I was so excited to try their restaurant and have a nice meal, but it was incredibly disappointing. The mussels and clams, although fresh, were in a bland watery broth. So mediocre! You can get awesome mussels in Coupeville and I would expect the Captain Whidbey to be on par (or better! than that. The scallops were delicious but I did not realize that the word risotto was in quotes...it tasted like trail mix, honestly. The gnocchi was also just fine and not what we expected. I hope they improve the restaurant because I 'd love to come back for the amazing atmosphere!"

"After exploring the sidewalk sale on Montana Ave in Santa Monica, we decided to take a break at Margo's to rest our feet in the warm and humid summer weather. Despite initially seeking relief from the heat inside, we found the restaurant to be uncomfortably hot. Opting to sit outside for some ocean breeze, we ordered a mushroom pizza and baby kale salad to share. Although service was a bit slow due to being understaffed, the food was delicious and arrived smelling fantastic. It was a self-service experience with a lack of glasses for water outside, but we made do. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 due to the service issues. The mushroom pizza was heavenly for mushroom lovers, and the baby kale salad was tasty with its crunchy faro. I would recommend both dishes. Just be mindful of the metered parking when visiting."

"This was my 3rd time at Culina, and overall, they are fabulous. The food never wavers. It is always superb. This 3rd experience was a touch less amazing than the test, but I would chalk this up to it being NYE. It was clearly very busy. We were seated outside, which wasn't ideal (reservation made 2 weeks in advance with no area to differentiate where to sit). The inside is gorgeous, and where you want to be. There was one server for the outside, which was about 5 tables, but some tables were very difficult. While dealing with them, our service suffered a bit (slow to get our drink order in, our food order, etc). But let me reiterate, the food is ALWAYS outstanding. This time was no different. We've made it a point to try something new every time we come. I highly suggest any pizza or pasta. Their steaks are also amazing. They have my business, and I will be back. Expect slower service on crazy occasions (duh)."

"This restaurant may not have the same old-fashioned charm as Old Homestead, but it still delivers. One unique feature is that it allows both smoking and dining, which is quite novel. I also appreciate the convenience of the OpenTable reservations system. However, upon entering without a host, the bartenders could be a bit friendlier. They seemed very focused on serving one customer at a time, leaving others in line feeling unimportant. Despite this initial impression, once seated, the experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the manager was attentive. My only suggestion would be for the bartenders to slow down a bit - they seemed a little too serious and rushed."

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The hostess was wonderful and incredibly accommodating. The interior design is intriguing, and the exterior is absolutely beautiful. I ordered the lamb, which I absolutely loved—it was both delicious and satisfying. We also shared an appetizer that, while small, was very tasty. My date ordered the salmon, and the server mentioned that both dishes would be full meals. However, my dish came out as a complete meal, while his was essentially just the salmon. He ended up needing to order a burger afterwards because he was still quite hungry. I really wish I could give this place 4.5 stars!"

"What an awesome Thanksgiving buffet! The food was delicious and the presentation of many of the items (salads, desserts) was wonderful. The seafood display was our favorite but we savored many of the other items too and left stuffed. We hadn’t been in to the Crown Landing since it was remodeled and we were somewhat disappointed. The noise level was high and unfortunately we were sitting across from the family with a very young child who kept squealing. It was disruptive during our entire meal. Too bad parents don’t consider those around them at times. Disruptive kids should be taken outside."

"It was Sunday brunch hour, and the restaurant was not crowded, so we were a bit worried at first, but soon the worry went away, as the wait staff was very attentive and friendly, and the pasta dishes we ordered were really good. I have been going to Storico since it opened some years back, and it has gone through multiple changes over time, and some of those changes were not so great at times, to be honest, and that was a reason I was not back for a while. But I am glad the restaurant is doing well and serving good food. The space and decor alone are worth visiting. We will be back again."

"We frequent this place a couple times per month and are always very pleased with the food. On a few occasions the server will submit our entrée order at the same time as our appetizer and they all end up coming together. However, this last weekend we were fortunate enough to be seated in John's section and he made sure the meal was properly staggered. It made for a much more enjoyable meal and we were able to get through the meal quickly without feeling pushed. Ask for John, he is sharp and very personable."

"Last night my husband and I went to Stokes Adobe for NYE dinner. What a warm and inviting place! Our server was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was charming, the food… a train wreck! When he served us that tiny plate, consisting of a single tater tot, garnished with a nasturtium leaf, a half a deviled egg, and one overdressed oyster, I thought we were being punked. How can you mess up a salad? They managed. The tiny cup of puréed baby food doused in olive oil, as soup? Steak that tasted like a salt lick, served with a side of shoestring potatoes, burnt to a crisp. You know you’re in trouble, when after your 4th course, a craving for a Carls Jr. Bacon cheeseburger, gets hard to ignore. All this for the bargain basement price of $300 plus gratuity!"

"Clearly an exquisite chef. Dinner was very well prepared. We enjoyed a salad, the strip, halibut, crab cakes, and gnocchi. Everything was very good but not over the top. The crab was excellent. The halibut also high on the list. The service was lacking especially for a restaurant of this caliber. There were three tables in the restaurant and the waiter team struggled to give us first-class attention. The restaurant is very small (8 tables total). No need to arrive early. There is no bar. There is a lounge as they call it which is a conference room with a butler bar for the restaurant and two tables."

"Last night was our first time visiting Pricci as it's been on our list for a while. We waited for an anniversary to visit. Valet seemed a bit overwhelmed parking is tight. At the end we waited for our car chose to walk to our car because we could see it. We were promptly seated upon arrival though with reservations and Dan was our server. Acoustics are a little loud during a busy time and our table wasn't as private as I would prefer but tolerable. Dan was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide our selections. He was able to suggest proper course timing. The food was very delicious, the carpaccio is a must try and will definitely order every future visit. A very light and tasty start. My husband had the lamb chops and I had the scallop risotto. Both dishes were excellent in presentation and taste. Will request more private or corner seating in future and valet could be improved. However, food is 10/10 and service by Dan was very professional. Will visit again!"

"We were first seated in an almost empty lobby within inches of a couple. When we asked about a number of different open tables we were told that they’d either been reserved by request or not available because they were for hotel guests. Strange. Our first server didn’t know what she was doing and didn’t write anything down. We ordered two drinks, steak and frites and the crudo. Our waitress didn’t know that frites were fries-she thought they were mashed potatoes (NBD). Our food arrived well before drinks even though the place was almost empty. When the waitress saw this she said that the bartender was in the basement looking for ingredients for my drink (vodka Ricky: vodka, ice, lime, simple syrup and soda). I’m not sure what they’d be missing from a bar from that list, but ok… Except what I received was whisky with soda and bitters… Eventually I did receive a drink but not what I ordered. Our waitress was replaced by Jessie and Alejandro. Both gave excellent service. To make up for this lack of quality in our initial experience we were offered a free dessert and accidentally received two. As we were leaving I met some friends and stopped by the bar to buy them champagne on me. What happened next explained a lot about my drink order debacle: 3 bartenders couldn’t identify a single bottle of champagne nor could they identify what to offer me instead. The staff clearly needs training here. We’d intended on a long evening of cocktails after dinner but decided to go to the bar down the street instead."

"My friends and I came here for the NYE dining experience. The service was absolutely terrible. They took forever for everything. When we first arrived and were seated the restaurant was pretty empty. They didn't really serve us individually. Half the time they gave it to one person and told them to pass down the dish. They poured water in one of my friend's cocktails they had just received. They removed the drink after we told them and never replaced it. We were then charged for it. I had to ask them twice to remove the drink from our bill. It took about 10 mins to fix the bill the first time and over 20 mins the second time. Absolutely terrible service and the food was mediocre. I would not recommend this restaurant."

"Incredible dinner! We always love coming here but this time was especially nice as we sat outside. Every recommendation Joel gave was spot on!! From the meal, the wine pairing, dessert.. he knew what to recommend which I value and everything was amazing. I always want to get what I had the last time I was there but I force myself to try something new and I’m telling you I am always left in awe. The creativity, time, and detail that goes into each meal is something you recognize the second you take your first bite. We can’t wait to come back and try something new."

"I just left the place let the management Jd know that I had my phone snatched out of my purse as well as I found 4 other girls there were looking for their wallets/phones. The management did not care to stop the dj to make an announcement considering how many people had been victimized. I am upset with how the management handle the situation. They were fully aware that multiple incidents had occurred in one night and failed to take action. They were aware and said to me that watch out for the Arabian men like how is this okay in an establishment."
