"The first three visits did not record to my points and that bummed me out cuz I spent a bundle. I wish they would give me a 1 drink credit for this and they are out of MCT oil so you know that is included in the price. BUT, this is the most tasty and amazing place you can go. It will not disappoint no matter what you get. I have given up Starbucks for this place. Their menu is Vast and the Medes something for everyone. You will not be disappointed."

"Update 9/28/20 What can I say I don't already. Stellar food and better service. From collection, delivery and diving. Always great. This time was picked up and the food and service was just as good as ever. My GF and I prefer different spice levels and they don't like onions, smells or tomatoes, so we always adjust our orders. What impressed me is that they never messed up an order. We even went to two different spices for salad dressing and they always have room. As for the food this trip was delicious. It's a month or so since our last trip through the pandemic, so the food just tastes better than we remember. Will need to make sure that not wait so long before the next trip. ———— one of the best Thai places I have ever been. Flavors are amazing and service impeccable. Go to dishes are the spicy Beef Salad and Penang Curry, but have tried many others and all were great. Only mistakes I've ever made was to order items that are sharp what they take seriously. I had to adapt to Med Spicy, which is perfect for most and then it can kick with her spicy sauces as needed. The one with green Chiles is fire. When you dive, they also give you a small portion of ice that always meets the spot."

"Today, we ordered the carnitas plate, chicken milanesa plate, a chicharrón taco out of curiosity, and table-side guacamole. First off, the guacamole on the plates is very limited for those who prefer more. I understand they have to make batches, but even our waitress mentioned that she struggles with portions, which was a bit disappointing. If we ordered the table-side guacamole for an extra charge, it shouldn’t be about skimping on portions; it feels like they’re limiting the experience. Even a simple option to order something other than the pre-made guacamole would be nice, especially considering we went for the table-side version! Overall, the food is generally quite good. However, today the carnitas were very dry, and the chicharrón taco was just a drier version of the same meat, so it wasn't the best day for those dishes. On the other hand, the chicken milanesa, which can be hard to find, was excellent, and the fried potatoes made a great side dish. I'm not sure why my carnitas dinner platter didn't meet expectations while my girlfriend’s did, but I was glad hers turned out well. This place is always a fun outing, and the food is generally quite good. They even welcomed us with our dog, who was part of our day out. Give it a try; it’s definitely worth it. As the server would say, "Until tomorrow? Why not!""

"We ordered dinner in this restaurant and were looking forward to good Thai food. Destroyed great time. The sweet and sour chicken was so over fried, so chew and veggies in it was so mushy. The appetizer Sampler was terrible; Calamari, one of my favorites, was not even good and tasteless fried. We threw away most of the items on the appetizer floor. The one plate left was a typical Thai dish, Pad Thai; he was barely edible. It was muddy and tasteless. How can a restaurant have opened so badly for so long? I had eaten in Phang Roy a few years ago and it was moderate, but I wanted to try again. What a mistake! Spent $56.49 for the WORST meal. Dr. A"

"This place is just bad. I mean really bad. My sweet and sour chicken was so bone dry, I'm sure it was left for days. Unchewable I had to spit it out. The food was also terribly greasy and after a tiny bowl, I threw the lot out. "Update on 9/21/20 Tried using the online ordering for dinner the other night and so happy I did. The food was just as good as the last time. Char burger was delish. Fried chicken sandwich had a huge piece of chicken and the fries were perfectly crisp. We also tried the new side, fried green beans with sriracha aoli, which was pretty tasty as well. What really made the trip special actually starts with some criticism. While the online ordering makes customizing your orders easy, it doesn?t have a comments or request section for extras, like their ?boom? sauce, which we like for the fries or extra chiles. The only free form section for comment was for the description of my car for curbside pick up. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised when the young lady who brought our order noted that the boom sauce and extra chiles were already in the bag. How cop is that. I?ve used Grubhub and DoorDash often and ordered extras many times, but the restaurants frequently miss it when there is a section for extras so this was a pleasant surprise. Will be back and happy to know there is a special hack for ordering extras from curbside. ??????????? Not sure if it?s because I haven?t had a burger in a while, the new fried chicken sandwich with red pepper sauce, which was awesome or if the fries were over done and tasted nice and crunchy like I like, but I really enjoyed my meal this night. The service was pretty awesome too, who he as nice. Place wasn?t packed at all, which may have helped. Finally, I like the fact they have chiles and hot sauce to go with the ketchup and other basic condiments. The burger was good, but the fried chicken sandwich was fire. The sauce that goes on it is pretty awesome too. Get some on the side for the fries and thank me later."

"My sister-in-law Brenda recommended this wonderful Thai restaurant to us, so we decided to stop by and order some food to go. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, Nary, who was incredibly kind and charming. She took our large order and we sat in her restaurant while we waited. Nary was attentive and genuine, sharing personal stories with us as we waited. When we got home and tried the food, we were amazed by the delicious flavors of everything. We have been eating Thai food in Southern California for over 30 years, and I can confidently say that this restaurant is now one of our favorites. The flavors are excellent and the ingredients are fresh. We will definitely be loyal customers for life. Thank you and blessings to Nary and her family."

"If I had to rate my experience only depending on the cashier I would give 1 star, just because 0 is not allowed. Honestly if I don't have anything good to say, I rather not say it at all but it's been multiple times, especially for doordash pickups and that the same specific cashier (was working on June 23rd at around 9:30pm) has been rude to me so here I am writing about it. She's just the worst restaurant employee ever: so unpleasant, doesn't greet, doesn't say thank you, she probably thinks she's too special to be working as a cashier...girl, come down from your pedestal and be humble! The restaurant itself is whatever and it's on the expensive side, that's why I'm giving it 3 stars only."

"Pepe Taco is the reason I'll always remember Azusa. It's one of my go-to restaurants after a nice hike. We felt extremely lucky to end our day there with a family reunion just before our flight home. With over 10 people gathering, Pepe's was wonderfully accommodating and welcoming. The flavors of the dishes were expertly blended, delighting our taste buds! My first meal only made my husband crave even more. I enjoyed two dishes: tacos Al Pastor and a torta, while he savored countless tacos and two different tortas. The service and atmosphere were fantastic, and we can't wait for our next visit! Thank you, Pepe's family!"

"It's kind of hard to evaluate this restaurant to be honest. I'll start with the good stuff and this is the food. The Barbacoa here is brilliant and the whole menu is a reminder of what was in Azusa that was Carmen when you know it. House style cooking in its finest as if you miss your mother Mexican cooking, just stop by. I've been living nearby for years, driven by this place even longer and never was inside until it was recommended by my uncle. I mention Carmens because it has been our favorite for years since we came from Mexico and this place is definitely a reminder. Now mention a few things that are considered bad, but I say it is room for improvement. There is no restaurant out there without cons to their professionals and I will try to be as fair as possible. The service itself can be great even though I like a woman we always try to serve us for her charming personality, and she takes care of everything I always make sure you leave a strong tip. It may sometimes be slow to sit and operate, technically you can only sit where you want, but it is confusing to stand there and do not know their process and it takes so long to get noticed when you sit so that can improve something if possible. This place is probably more than half the time closed. Especially on Sunday I am confused when it is open for breakfast and Menudo then close them for the afternoon and the evening or when they are completely closed, but it seems that half the time we drive to see if it is open, it is closed, which is unhappy. Maybe it's for religious reasons to close on Sunday, but I definitely want to spend my afternoon or evening after the church there. It is usually confusing and unusual that the restaurants close later on Sunday, which are high time for eating with the family. The cutlery and drinking containers and sheets and what could not be improved or changed. Unfortunately, I had to send back cups they gave me because they are broken or chipped, which is strange. It's understandable if they can't afford to change anything, but I would definitely feel out of place if you have such things for eating or drinking from anywhere else, so it's not just here. The decor is okay and definitely feels a bit like at home, but with some of the house style renovations are required with less than desirable seating and tables and whatnot included. I guess that's enough of the cons and bad mentions here, but honestly... I can live with it. If this place is open more often, I will definitely spend more time here. I love my Barbacoa there, don't tell my father, but it's better than his Birrie lol I and my family would like to fill the hole Carmen left us and replace it with Guadalupe if we could. The food beats as close as possible at home and could very well be the last authentic Mexican house style cooking left out here! In any case, give this place an attempt!"

"I recently placed an order through UberEATS, and the estimated delivery time was 10-20 minutes, which was fine since I live just down the street. However, after waiting over 20 minutes and watching my delivery driver take a convoluted route, I decided to call and speak to the manager. When I explained that there was no code number on UberEATS and the order was under my name, he didn’t seem pleased with my answer and hung up on me. As someone who is disabled and relies on delivery for meals, this experience was incredibly frustrating. Fortunately, I was able to cancel my order just in time. I've ordered from them many times before and typically received my food within a reasonable timeframe, so this was quite disappointing."

"I dined at this restaurant before I became vegan and wasn't impressed; the food made me feel unwell, and it had a rough texture. However, after going back as a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the food was! I'm really enjoying the meals here. I've been eating here daily, and I never get bored. Their tortillas are vegan, and they offer a vegan meat option, which is great considering the limited choices for vegans elsewhere. If I ever had questions about whether something was vegan, I simply asked, and although the staff member didn't know at first, they took the initiative to ask the manager, who confirmed it was vegan. I was really impressed with their respectfulness and willingness to help."

"We traveled 70 miles just to enjoy a lemon meringue pie for my birthday. Unfortunately, many Marie Callender's locations have closed because franchise owners have allowed the food quality to decline in poorly maintained establishments. We were concerned that this location might be the same, but since it appeared well-maintained, we decided to stay and dine. I'm so glad we did! The quiche is one of my favorites, but it often turns out dense and dry, like it does at Mimi's. However, that was not the case here! The quiche was beautifully layered, reminiscent of a traditional Italian pizza: a crust followed by a fluffy egg layer, then spinach, bacon, and finally a light layer of Swiss cheese. It was moist and full of flavor—the best I've ever had! A big shoutout to the chef! The drive was definitely worth it."

"The chips and salsa are the main reason I come here. Whenever my friends threw parties, someone would always make the trip to get these chips and salsa for the event. We skip the Tostitos and Pace Picante. Many enjoyable Saturday and Sunday afternoons of my youth were spent here, devouring chips and salsa while washing it down with a pitcher of beer. I would usually order a Chicken Tostada Compuesta to share, but our primary focus was on the chips and beer. The chips are light; I personally prefer a sturdier chip, but it’s hard to find good chips and salsa elsewhere. The ambiance isn’t charming or aesthetically pleasing—it can get quite loud, echoey, and bright. When you walk in, you stand in line, place your order at the counter, and then find a table. It’s a typical Mom and Pop Mexican-American fast food spot loaded with American cheddar, offering a straightforward, no-frills menu. I also bought my masa here when I made tamales."

"We love, love their breakfast menu. We have dinned at Tardino’s for their dinner menu and thought the food was good. We went last week to have their breakfast and enjoyed it so much we went their today and again, it was amazing! We love the freshness of the food. The portion size is perfect.
