"The first three visits did not record to my points and that bummed me out cuz I spent a bundle. I wish they would give me a 1 drink credit for this and they are out of MCT oil so you know that is included in the price. BUT, this is the most tasty and amazing place you can go. It will not disappoint no matter what you get. I have given up Starbucks for this place. Their menu is Vast and the Medes something for everyone. You will not be disappointed."

"I love this place. I usually get takeout from here. I hadn't eaten inside until recently since the beginning of the pandemic. I love getting their tom kha soup and spicy chicken salad. The portions are family style, and you're able to share with a few people. I like ordering a few items and sharing. I got the fresh garden rolls with shrimp, Pad Thai with beef, spicy green curry with chicken, and steamed rice.The fresh garden rolls with shrimp are delicious. The shrimp is warm, and the sauces pair well together for flavorful bites.The Pad Thai is yummy. I like getting it with beef as I normally get the curry with chicken. The spice levels here are actually spicy, so if you normally order spicy, it may come across as very spicy. The steamed rice was good. I like to put curry over it. They also offer complimentary cookies and cream ice cream at the end of your meal. It's perfect after eating a spicy. There's also a free Thai Tea available if you check in with a $15 purchase. I redeemed it on this visit. The thai tea tasted good. I asked for it to be lightly sweet, and that's what it tasted like. The customer service is also great! I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially for comfort food on a cold or rainy day."

"This place has great BBQ and service. The cowboy burger is my favorite. Their loaded spuds are very good. Corn bread with honey butter,,,, gotta try it. Brisket and tri tip sandwiches are good value. So far have not been dissatisfied. Thanks! Came back on 5.26.2024 this place is the real deal. Ordered a Cubano and Boss sandwich, a couple of piggy Mac's! So e cornbread and a couple beers. They really took care of our party of five. The food is incredible here. Thank you All. Potato salad is 8.23.24 had the Daisy sandwich! The flour tortillas are good with the butter! Amazing service and Great food."

"Came here last night hungry with my wife and son and they never disappoint! We come here so much, they treat us like family and somehow already know what we're going to order, lol! And yes, this is our comfort restaurant because I've never found an Asian restaurant that has topped thus yet, haha! I never described this joint on my other reviews, so there's plenty of parking, plenty of tables, spacious and clean. There's an area outside behind the wall tv I guess you could consider that an outside dining. Bathrooms were renovated and clean. Yes you could turn it into a romantic date or a group event. As you enter, Sharon or the owner Vanny would warmly greet you and get you seated right away followed by the menus and plates. Staff are very friendly and attentive. You start ordering and Sharon used to memorize what you order but stopped doing that before the pandemic. They always impress me with their fast service. I started with my favorite lychee green tea, not too sweet just right and I use my drink to wash down the food and refreshen my palates for the next dish. Hot and sour soup is our usual to warm up our bellies and prepare for the next delicious dish. Then came the Hong Kong pan fried noodles which is comfort food for us. Then came the combo seafood platter which came sizzling. Their orange beef was crunchy but tender, which was my wife's favorite. And always lastly, the Couwami's Signature fried rice. No matter how hungry we are, there's always a lot of left overs. Yes, portions are big and we always leave with a big smile. And of course we'll be back for more!"

"Update on 9/21/20 Tried using the online ordering for dinner the other night and so happy I did. The food was just as good as the last time. Char burger was delish. Fried chicken sandwich had a huge piece of chicken and the fries were perfectly crisp. We also tried the new side, fried green beans with sriracha aoli, which was pretty tasty as well. What really made the trip special actually starts with some criticism. While the online ordering makes customizing your orders easy, it doesn?t have a comments or request section for extras, like their ?boom? sauce, which we like for the fries or extra chiles. The only free form section for comment was for the description of my car for curbside pick up. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised when the young lady who brought our order noted that the boom sauce and extra chiles were already in the bag. How cop is that. I?ve used Grubhub and DoorDash often and ordered extras many times, but the restaurants frequently miss it when there is a section for extras so this was a pleasant surprise. Will be back and happy to know there is a special hack for ordering extras from curbside. ??????????? Not sure if it?s because I haven?t had a burger in a while, the new fried chicken sandwich with red pepper sauce, which was awesome or if the fries were over done and tasted nice and crunchy like I like, but I really enjoyed my meal this night. The service was pretty awesome too, who he as nice. Place wasn?t packed at all, which may have helped. Finally, I like the fact they have chiles and hot sauce to go with the ketchup and other basic condiments. The burger was good, but the fried chicken sandwich was fire. The sauce that goes on it is pretty awesome too. Get some on the side for the fries and thank me later."

"The restaurant is small but perfect, with plenty of seating space. Our choices for today were Tom Yum seafood, chicken fried rice, and pad see ew noodles. The Tom Yum had just the right amount of spice and all the flavors worked well together. The chicken fried rice was good without any complaints. The pad see ew noodles were flavorful, with fresh ingredients that were well put together. The only suggestion would be to offer fountain drinks instead of bottles and cans. Overall, I highly recommend this location to anyone undecided about where to go for Thai food. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!"

"Pepe Taco is the reason I'll always remember Azusa. It's one of my go-to restaurants after a nice hike. We felt extremely lucky to end our day there with a family reunion just before our flight home. With over 10 people gathering, Pepe's was wonderfully accommodating and welcoming. The flavors of the dishes were expertly blended, delighting our taste buds! My first meal only made my husband crave even more. I enjoyed two dishes: tacos Al Pastor and a torta, while he savored countless tacos and two different tortas. The service and atmosphere were fantastic, and we can't wait for our next visit! Thank you, Pepe's family!"

"The place seems like a really fun and hip place to come study and meet up with friends. We did have to wait a little bit in order to get our order in, even with no one in line in front of us. The coffee beans they use are from a roaster that makes highly acidic roasts (Chromatica from San Jose, CA), and the drinks are more on the acidic/bitter side. None of us unfortunately didn’t like our drinks because of how acidic/bitter they were (ordered a mocha, a matcha latte, and a latte to go). It’s crazy that even the mocha was acidic/bitter, but clearly this place has a following (just not for me)."

"It's kind of hard to evaluate this restaurant to be honest. I'll start with the good stuff and this is the food. The Barbacoa here is brilliant and the whole menu is a reminder of what was in Azusa that was Carmen when you know it. House style cooking in its finest as if you miss your mother Mexican cooking, just stop by. I've been living nearby for years, driven by this place even longer and never was inside until it was recommended by my uncle. I mention Carmens because it has been our favorite for years since we came from Mexico and this place is definitely a reminder. Now mention a few things that are considered bad, but I say it is room for improvement. There is no restaurant out there without cons to their professionals and I will try to be as fair as possible. The service itself can be great even though I like a woman we always try to serve us for her charming personality, and she takes care of everything I always make sure you leave a strong tip. It may sometimes be slow to sit and operate, technically you can only sit where you want, but it is confusing to stand there and do not know their process and it takes so long to get noticed when you sit so that can improve something if possible. This place is probably more than half the time closed. Especially on Sunday I am confused when it is open for breakfast and Menudo then close them for the afternoon and the evening or when they are completely closed, but it seems that half the time we drive to see if it is open, it is closed, which is unhappy. Maybe it's for religious reasons to close on Sunday, but I definitely want to spend my afternoon or evening after the church there. It is usually confusing and unusual that the restaurants close later on Sunday, which are high time for eating with the family. The cutlery and drinking containers and sheets and what could not be improved or changed. Unfortunately, I had to send back cups they gave me because they are broken or chipped, which is strange. It's understandable if they can't afford to change anything, but I would definitely feel out of place if you have such things for eating or drinking from anywhere else, so it's not just here. The decor is okay and definitely feels a bit like at home, but with some of the house style renovations are required with less than desirable seating and tables and whatnot included. I guess that's enough of the cons and bad mentions here, but honestly... I can live with it. If this place is open more often, I will definitely spend more time here. I love my Barbacoa there, don't tell my father, but it's better than his Birrie lol I and my family would like to fill the hole Carmen left us and replace it with Guadalupe if we could. The food beats as close as possible at home and could very well be the last authentic Mexican house style cooking left out here! In any case, give this place an attempt!"

"I recently placed an order through UberEATS, and the estimated delivery time was 10-20 minutes, which was fine since I live just down the street. However, after waiting over 20 minutes and watching my delivery driver take a convoluted route, I decided to call and speak to the manager. When I explained that there was no code number on UberEATS and the order was under my name, he didn’t seem pleased with my answer and hung up on me. As someone who is disabled and relies on delivery for meals, this experience was incredibly frustrating. Fortunately, I was able to cancel my order just in time. I've ordered from them many times before and typically received my food within a reasonable timeframe, so this was quite disappointing."

"I ate here when I wasn't vegan and hated it. The food made me sick and it tasted rough. I went here when I was vegan and I was blown away how good it was!!! I love her food! I've eaten here every day and I'm not bored. Your tortillas are vegan and they have a vegan meat option and there is only so much to choose for vegans! If you have any questions when something is vegan, I simply asked and the lady did not know so that when they go to ask her managers and she confirmed that it was vegan. They were very respectful."

"The Marie Callendar's closest to me closed a while ago, so it has been a while since I've dined in one. It wasn't until our divisional Kiwanis service organization started meeting monthly at this location that I knew there was still a spot sorta close by. Since our 25+ group met monthly here for dinner, we have a set menu to order off of for ease of both the restaurant and our members. I've tried the chicken pot pie, classic french dip sandwich, and the turkey croissant club. Not sure why the chicken pot pie is always labeled as pot pie trio on our menu when an order only comes with one. I've enjoyed all three entrees and usually rotate amongst them each time I come. Our meal also comes with cornbread with honey butter (yummmm) and our choice of pie slice. I usually do lemon meringue, but have taken chocolate cream pie home for BF to enjoy. Their servers do a great job taking care of our large group. The meeting spot is nice for our size, though it is not sectioned off, so noise from the other customers in the nearby sections carry over to us, sometimes making it hard to hear our presenters and members. Also plenty of parking in the lot. Looking forward to my next slice of lemon meringue pie here, with a side of catching up with friends in my Kiwanis group!"

"The chips and salsa are the main reason I come here. Whenever my friends threw parties, someone would always make the trip to get these chips and salsa for the event. We skip the Tostitos and Pace Picante. Many enjoyable Saturday and Sunday afternoons of my youth were spent here, devouring chips and salsa while washing it down with a pitcher of beer. I would usually order a Chicken Tostada Compuesta to share, but our primary focus was on the chips and beer. The chips are light; I personally prefer a sturdier chip, but it’s hard to find good chips and salsa elsewhere. The ambiance isn’t charming or aesthetically pleasing—it can get quite loud, echoey, and bright. When you walk in, you stand in line, place your order at the counter, and then find a table. It’s a typical Mom and Pop Mexican-American fast food spot loaded with American cheddar, offering a straightforward, no-frills menu. I also bought my masa here when I made tamales."

We went last week to have their breakfast and enjoyed it so much we went their today and again, it was amazing! We love the freshness of the food. The portion size is perfect. The friendly staff is what makes them a 5 star in my book. The waitresses are the friendliest and even the owner/cooks came out to see how we were enjoying our food.
