"The bar area is quite small, with limited seating that doesn't allow guests at the bar to view the seven wall-mounted TVs. As an out-of-town visitor, I asked the female bartender if I could switch to a higher seat to watch the TVs. She responded with a flat, almost sarcastic remark, saying, "The busser probably warned you about me." When she came back to take my order, she seemed noticeably annoyed—definitely not the attitude you'd hope for when being served! After explaining the unusual alcohol ordering rules in Utah, I ordered the six-wing meal, clearly marked on the menu as "naked" (meaning not breaded). Yet, she asked if I wanted them "naked," and I reiterated that I wanted them as listed.
A couple of minutes later, she returned to confirm whether I had ordered the lemon pepper wings instead of garlic parmesan, claiming she got them mixed up before wandering off again. When my food arrived, there were no napkins or silverware for the coleslaw, so I had to request those. Her response was indifferent, as if she was completely disengaged.
During my time there, I noticed a couple who walked in, received popcorn, and then were completely ignored for ten minutes before leaving out of frustration. When I asked the bartender for a to-go box and to settle my bill, I specifically requested two lids for my dipping sauces. She returned only with the box and my bill—no lids! Despite the poor service, I left a 15% tip on my card, trying to be gracious. I then asked her to bring me the lids, and as she handed them to me, she casually said over her shoulder, "Have a great day."
Management, I don't know if she's dealing with personal issues or believes customers are concerned about her mood, but her job should be to enhance the customer experience. She was quite unapproachable and unhelpful, and I believe she needs to improve or consider a different position. The bartender I’m referring to is a short brunette in her late 30s with a scar on her face. My ticket number was 825, and it's worth noting that she was not the taller bartender working the room; she was specifically stationed behind the bar.
Let me know if you need any further adjustments!"
