I went there with my field trip group yesterday and the owner took time to talk to us about the history of the building. He was very nice and welcoming in fact the whole staff was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be coming back and enjoying more food there. Thank you for making our experience so great. I loved this restaurant! The history, the ambiance, the service the FOOD! I just got something simple, (The Vegan Burger) and it’s the best one I’ve tasted! We loved the classic feel in Idle Isle Cafe. We all loved the food! It was great and reasonably priced. However, we were pretty disappointed with the service. Our server seemed to ignore us and only cared about her bigger tables in the back. I get places that are short staffed, and the food could have been worth the wait. It was 30 minutes before we even got our water to drink. We were told by our server that she had two big tables in the back and someone else was getting our drinks. It was so warm in the seating area, and my kids were super thirsty. Overall, it could have been a better experience! Ver carta
