"We recently visited the Burleigh for an anniversary trip. Our dinner experience was lovely and the service was exceptional. As it was still the earlier part of the season, things were a bit on the quiet side and we were practically the only party in the bar area. The food was good. Unfortunately, they were out of the scallop ceviche, which we had really looked forward to. We opted for the hummus appetizer instead. For dinner, we had the Baked Stuffed Haddock and the Coulette Steak entrees. They were both tasty, though they each could have used a touch more seasoning (the whipped potatoes were pretty bland). Despite noting that it was our anniversary on the reservation, it was not acknowledged at all. Not a huge deal for us personally, however, it's odd for the restaurant to ask about special occasions if they are not going to be acknowledged. Our server was exceptional- friendly, personable and accommodating. Bar service was great as well and the cocktails were tasty. Overall, we would return here for a visit on our next trip!"
