Everything was delicious, not too sweet, with emphasis on the taste of the main ingredient, e.g. the chocolate Fudge Brownie was deeply chocolatey and not buried in sugar, the cinnamon buns was well seasoned with a little citrus aftertaste, and the dough was the right move apart consistency. The chocolate and vanilla cupcakes are moist and hearty, and not sweet again. The frosting was light and whipped, beautifully applied, and not overwhelming the berries taste freezing was especially beautiful, tart and sweet. Great customer service. My friend called in a sequence of goodies, and I wanted to pick them up in the morning, but I'm totally spoiled and didn't come to the place until the store called me half an hour before graduation to let me know that I had an order to collect. Tammy was very patient with my misunderstanding: Beautiful little town family owned bakery. I really appreciate the COVID safety precautions as well as contactless board pick-up is still a very important security measure, and I am grateful Fernleaf makes the effort to protect her employees and neighbors. Will definitely order special treats from these people, and cannot expect to enjoy a cup of coffee and a treat when they feel comfortable opening the café. Go on!"
