"We ordered chorizo pampazo, a carne asada torta, a carne asada burrito, and a kids' enchilada plate, and requested carne asada as the filling for the enchilada. While my daughter was eating, I noticed the meat was entirely dark and clearly leftover from previous orders. It appeared to have been repeatedly overcooked before being placed in her enchilada. I immediately took the plate away from her and told her to stop eating it—it was absolutely disgusting!
In fact, all the carne asada from our three plates seemed to be pre-cooked and just reheated. You could see and taste that it wasn't freshly cooked to order. They simply have a batch of cooked meat that they keep overcooking on the skillet whenever they get an order. They charge $8.99 for a burrito—why not cook the meat fresh for each order?
To top it off, the waitress accidentally dropped a salsa bottle into my husband’s horchata cup. She apologized and brought him another one, but the horchata tasted like a store-bought powder that was just mixed with water—it definitely did not have the authentic flavor I was expecting.
We decided to try this restaurant because a neighbor recommended it, but it was far from what I anticipated. This establishment deserves zero stars. The food is bland, and the meat is not cooked fresh as it should be. Please save yourself from a disappointing dining experience and choose another place where you can truly enjoy your meal. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I will never return to this restaurant. The attached picture shows the kids' enchilada with the overcooked carne asada filling—shame on the cook for making such poor choices to save on food preparation!"
