Alexander's Cafe - Carta

This is a fantastic spot for a tasty breakfast. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the portions are generous and delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Generous portions, fresh and over all pretty good food. Grilled fish tacos needed a bit more flavor on the actual fish. The chicken sandwhich and tenders were fresh and crispy but way too oily. Service and atmosphere were great.

We visited this restaurant on a busy Sunday afternoon and only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The ambiance was enhanced by a live piano player, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent, with attentive waitstaff. The food was outstanding, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained.

every time I have the opportunity to recommend a restaurant in the elgin area, I recommend Alexander’s. I never ordered anything I didn't like. it is always fast and it is always delicious. I was so grateful for them about the pandemic because they stayed open and kept my job afloat! I'm probably going one or two weeks. I love it!

When my family mentioned going to this restaurant, I assumed it would be just another diner. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic, as was the atmosphere. They took their traditional Greek diner and added a few touches, such as a live piano, beautiful decor, and Intelligentsia coffee. Other restaurants could definitely learn from them. Ver carta

We visited the restaurant on a Sunday around noon, and it was quite busy. However, we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. There was a piano player in the restaurant, and the music created a relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent; our waitress was attentive and ensured our glasses were always filled. The food was outstanding! Additionally, the restaurant was clean and had a fresh vibe.

We went there for breakfast and everything was exquisitely prepared with fresh and tasty ingredients. Our server Liz M. was very attentive without being overbearing. Every time we needed something she was right there to make sure our breakfast was an enjoyable meal. This while understanding that we were not in a hurry and wanted to catch up on conversation. Hope to visit again soon and be served by Liz M.

This is a very nice place to go for some breakfast. It feels fancy but the prices are average. The restaurant is always clean anytime I go. Looks gorgeous inside. One of the times, there was a man playing the piano and it made the experience a billion times better. The only negative I have is that the biscuits I got (biscuits and gravy) were undercooked. They were very doughy inside and it was a little tough to finish. Ver carta
