"For a place with the original chicken wing, I admit I was a bit discouraged. Surprised at how we were treated as a customer. We were the waitresses last party of the day, she made that known right away. We all ordered. It took 20 minutes to get drinksto the table. We actually had our appetizer before we got our drinks (sodas, nothing from the bar)! It took another 45 minutesto get our orders. We got a variety of wings, burger and a salad. The salad had field greens mentioned in the description andthere was no actual leaf of lettuce or spinach. It had only arugula and some purple veg (sorry, I do not know the name of thisgreen) that was as bitter as the arugula. The wings were just okay. The sauce had no pop. The dipping sauce was prepackaged inlittle containers with the foil peel off lids, not store made as most wing places do. We did have a certain expectation when yougo to the original store. This was a disappointment. Having a server that seemed to be upset because she was sat another tableand she seemed put off to serving us. No refills on drinks were offered till we asked for them. The other food was tasty, thebread to the meatball sub was very soggy, the tenders were okay, juicy, but not anything I would not get at a fast food place.We always tip over 18%. We did not here because, at the waitresses descretion she put on the large party tip (table of 8) and wedid not add any tip as we normally would have due to the lack of service, not the food. Will probably not return."

Great Anchor Bar chicken wings in this Niagara Falls, New York location. The restaurant is easy to find with very good parking. Service is very good. We find on the expensive side. Ver carta

Awesome! We enjoyed the wings (many flavors to choose from classic flavors to other flavors like honey garlic), roast beef sandwiches, meatball sandwich! It was fun to eat at the place that created the Buffalo Wing!

The wings were fine. I know they don't claim to be the best, only the original, so I'm a bit torn on how to review. Let's just say I had other wings that were better while in Buffalo. The service was a bit slow, but she apologized many times and thankedus for being patient. They were busy and I'm assuming they were under-staffed.
