"We have been coming to OBX for YEARS, and now live here never ate here until today. Why? The name...one of us eats sushi, the other does not so we never looked beyond the road sign where is says Sushi Bar . Very much our loss.Very nice on the side, and larger then I expected. The service was polite, friendly, prompt, and fast without being pushy. They have what i would call a a pretty typical asian cuisine type menu. Servings are HUGE, well prepared, HOT temperature wise, and very good.As to the sushi, I did get the Yellowtail Jalapeno sushi which was good but not great (that said I am an admitted sushi snob and really only like nigiri style which this was not).Would we eat here again 100% yes without question."

"From beginning to end it was a gourmet experience. We started with the oysters in a skillet with a Cajun gravy combining oysters with andouille sausage , mushrooms, rice and a small dark Mediterranean grain, along with a square of roasted cornbread. Absolutely delicious! I then had two appetizers as my entree. The always really crunchy and tasty fried green tomatoes. My other dish was a Jamaican spicy beef dish with a sort of relish mix of yellow raisins, celery, onions with unknowable spice that was a perfect blend of flavors. My dinner partner had the sheepshead pan seared along with lobster mushrooms and some other things I can’t describe. He loved it. For dessert the fantastic white chocolate crème broule and coffee. Yum! Our server was Jeff, excellent and attentive as always."

"Our entire group on vacation went here (six kids and six adults . The staff did a good job at getting us a long table so that we could all sit together. There were several mixed drinks ordered. The old-fashioned was the only one that we had to send back (wasn’t any good . But, they replaced it with something else. They had a couple chef options, which were good choices for seafood lovers. One was the halibut (picture attached in another one was fish that was similar to grouper. we can’t remember what it was called . One guy got a pound of steam shrimp which she said was very good. The other buddy got crab legs and his only complaint was there really wasn’t a lot of crab legs with one order. Wish there was more. Overall, great atmosphere inside the restaurant. The floor plan is wide open, so you don’t feel like you’re squeezed into any little corner or anything like that. The bathrooms were cleaned. The waitress did a good job taking care of our entire group. You can check out the Summer 2024 menu in the pictures"

"So fun to find this really local place. Because of the weather, only the interior was open and was full, but spacious enough to not feel cramped. Can see the call of the entire outdoor area in good weather and sea views. Open kitchen and small bar. Efficient service and plentiful. We had both burgers and they were delicious. Well cooked and tasteful. You can add the toppings on the burger, my included bacon, cheese, salad and onions. French frits are made at home and cooked fresh, seasoned well."
