Bowen's Landing - Carta

Great food, atmosphere, and value. Lobster Ravioli, Blackened Chicken Alfredo, and Shrimp Pasta were all amazing. Appetizers, entree, and dessert all in under an hour. First time there, definitely won’t be our last.

Not easy to get to unless you know what you’re looking for. VERY casual. We ate outside with a nice water view and a great breeze. Fish tacos tasted almost ‘Cajun’, but were good. It didn’t look expensive, but the total tab was, especially for what we ordered.

Let me start by saying you should make a reservation. This place tends to get busy since it is a casual family restaurant. Food was okay, I wasn't that impressed with the shrimp grits, mostly grits, 5 or 6 average size shrimp. I would go back, sure, people were very friendly and service was great. Ver carta

We had the Seared Salmon, the Ribs Fried Tenders Hush Puppies all wonderful and great size servings! And Very Impressive was the Service The Staff was constantly on the flow, serving to the inside outside Guests, and holding the doors open for each other as a matter of course! IF you are in the area, you will be well served, in every respect, to enjoy a meal here!

My mom, daughter, I were taking the backroads home from SC to NC. After a couple days in Greenville, SC and some other places… We came upon this restaurant on the lake. We enjoyed our food, feeding the ducks, then took a peaceful walk. My daughter actually found a pearl in an oyster she was eating (at 1st she thought she lost a tooth. Nice casual place to grab food. They do not take debit or credit cards… We want to go back when we are in the area again.

I visited Bowen’s Landing for the first time recently and I was pleasantly surprised! First of all the managers of the restaurant were very appreciative of us coming and checked on us to make sure everything was ok. Our server was very knowledgeable and catered to our every need. The manager brought us a large bottle of capped water for the table, nice jester. I had the hamburger steak with fries and a side salad for around $10 and it was great. It was my first experience there and hopefully it won’t be my last because it’s a “come backer”. Ver carta

The waitress was wonderful (Audrey). She checked back with us many times to make sure we had what we needed. She was very sweet too. It was our first time eating there and we will be back even though we are about an hour away. It will be worth the drive. The atmosphere was wonderful. We sat outside near a water feature and it was so relaxing. A manager came by to ask about our meal which shows they care about the customer. The food was delicious. the three of us got different meals and tasted a bit of each others and all three meals were delicious. We will be back.

My husband and I went to celebrate Valentines. We made a reservation and waited in the bar starting our evening with a delicious strawberry sangria and a beer for my husband. The bartenders were very friendly. The restaurant was very crowded but well managed. We were seated and our server came right over, introduced herself and asked for our drinks and appetizer order. The warm shrimp dip was amazing!! We then split the blackened flounder with the feta mashed potatoes and added grilled shrimp. It was out of this world! Visited for dinner on the 18th of January 2023 and was not disappointed. My wife and I started out with Lemonade as our drinks. Although not home made, the lemonade was good. We had the House Chips as an appetizer and weren 't sure we made the right choice, however, we were pleasantly surprised when we tried them. One of the best home made chips around. We loved every chip and there were plenty of them. My wife had Seabass for her entree while I had Lasagna. Both were delicious and top notch . While I have been to Bowen 's Landing previously, I noticed the serving of Lasagna was smaller than before with one less slice of toasted bread.
