"The care taken in each of these dishes definitely shows. The service is friendly and very accommodating for specific dietary needs and restrictions. This time around I tried the gluten free gnocchi that had a cauliflower base. It was absolutely delicious. Before this I've only ever had regular gnocchi, but this gluten free version did NOT disappoint. Great texture and flavor with the steak bites and reduction sauce. Hubby had the lobster ravioli... That saffron sauce was spectacularly delicate and creamy. Can we make a gluten free version of that ravioli possibly? Or does it exist...? I probably should've asked. We'll be back! Thanks to the staff for making our visit so enjoyable!"

"My husband and I have been eager to try Vigilucci’s, and since we were in Encinitas for the evening, we decided on a nice dinner out We started with the table bread, which was warm and tasty, but the oil and balsamic weren’t quite to my satisfaction—I would have preferred butter and garlic. For our mains, we ordered the Chicken Piccata di Pollo and the Filetto pizza. The pizza looked amazing, but unfortunately, it had excess water from the meat still cooking on top. The Gorgonzola tasted more like blue cheese, which wasn’t what we expected. While the filet mignon was tender, it lacked flavor and wasn’t particularly memorable, though the crust was outstanding. The pasta itself was just okay, but the chicken completely made up for it! It was flavorful, and when paired with the roasted vegetables, it really brought the dish together. Overall, our experience had its highs and lows. The meal had some standout elements, but there were a few disappointments as well. We’d be open to returning to try other dishes, hoping for a more consistent experience next time"

"The ordering process is done downstairs at the register, breakfast menu to the right! The staff was very helpful with this, as I was intent on running upstairs immediately. Best French toast I think I've ever had. The combo was ok. Eggs were good and fluffy. But 100% try those Frenchies. Atmosphere was legit. Went for the view and was impressed. There's the ocean! Coffee was good too. They have a coffee bar and they give you a mug. Good stuff. Will be back!"

"Este es un encantador restaurante italiano del viejo mundo que recuerda a otro tiempo. Era un día nevoso y el restaurante no estaba lleno para almorzar, pero la comida era excelente. El pan era fresco y delicioso. El minestrone casero era ligero y fragante. Los camarones eran excelentes. Era el cumpleaños de mi novia, y nuestro camarero trajo un delicioso postre con un mensaje de chocolate por iniciativa propia. Volveremos en cualquier caso."

"Located in a perfect oceanfront spot in Cardiff, this restaurant is a great choice for those looking for a beautiful view. Parking can be difficult, but they offer valet for $7, which is convenient. We requested a table by the ocean and were seated there without any issues. We started off with a cucumber jalapeño margarita and some sushi. I preferred the cucumber jalapeño drink for its kick, but found the agave too sweet. Their gluten-free and vegetarian menu options were a big plus for us, as my husband has a gluten sensitivity. The Cardiff roll we ordered was excellent, with fresh tuna and crab. The raw jalapeño on top added a nice touch, but may not be for everyone. Next time, I'd like to try their sunset roll with coconut shrimp. The short rib entree we shared was massive and delicious. The Brussels sprouts were a bit under seasoned and the potato gratin was mediocre. For dessert, we shared a coconut cheesecake, which my husband loved but I found just okay (I prefer chocolate). Overall, I'd definitely return to try more dishes."
