"A nice, relaxed vibe as always, but the quality of the food seems to still be declining. Once it was great Italian food, now it's just average. I'm not sure if prices have gone up, but the quality, attention to detail, and even the portion sizes have gone down. But there's nothing wrong with this place that a little more creativity and generosity can't fix!"

Perfect place for a low key date night. Arguably the best pizza on the coast highway. Salads are huge and tasty. Servers are friendly and professional.

I always enjoy Buono Forchetta great good and service. We brought visiting friends this time and they enjoyed the food and service. Only downside on this visit was the screaming toddler behind us.

We celebrated our brothers birthday. It was a quiet weekday afternoon. There was also a party of 10 but the noise level never changed. Food was delicious as ever. Only one waiter but he managed the entire room perfectly. The busboy was also excellent. Love this quaint authentic Italian gem in Leucadia. We will return again again!!!

"The care taken in each of these dishes definitely shows. The service is friendly and very accommodating for specific dietary needs and restrictions. This time around I tried the gluten free gnocchi that had a cauliflower base. It was absolutely delicious. Before this I've only ever had regular gnocchi, but this gluten free version did NOT disappoint. Great texture and flavor with the steak bites and reduction sauce. Hubby had the lobster ravioli... That saffron sauce was spectacularly delicate and creamy. Can we make a gluten free version of that ravioli possibly? Or does it exist...? I probably should've asked. We'll be back! Thanks to the staff for making our visit so enjoyable!"

"My husband and I have been eager to try Vigilucci’s, and since we were in Encinitas for the evening, we decided on a nice dinner out We started with the table bread, which was warm and tasty, but the oil and balsamic weren’t quite to my satisfaction—I would have preferred butter and garlic. For our mains, we ordered the Chicken Piccata di Pollo and the Filetto pizza. The pizza looked amazing, but unfortunately, it had excess water from the meat still cooking on top. The Gorgonzola tasted more like blue cheese, which wasn’t what we expected. While the filet mignon was tender, it lacked flavor and wasn’t particularly memorable, though the crust was outstanding. The pasta itself was just okay, but the chicken completely made up for it! It was flavorful, and when paired with the roasted vegetables, it really brought the dish together. Overall, our experience had its highs and lows. The meal had some standout elements, but there were a few disappointments as well. We’d be open to returning to try other dishes, hoping for a more consistent experience next time"

"The ordering process is done downstairs at the register, breakfast menu to the right! The staff was very helpful with this, as I was intent on running upstairs immediately. Best French toast I think I've ever had. The combo was ok. Eggs were good and fluffy. But 100% try those Frenchies. Atmosphere was legit. Went for the view and was impressed. There's the ocean! Coffee was good too. They have a coffee bar and they give you a mug. Good stuff. Will be back!"

"C'est un charmant restaurant italien du vieux monde qui rappelle une autre époque. C'était un jour de neige et le restaurant n'était pas bondé pour le déjeuner, mais la nourriture était excellente. Le pain était frais et délicieux. Le minestrone fait maison était léger et parfumé. Les crevettes étaient excellentes. C'était l'anniversaire de ma copine, et notre serveur, de sa propre initiative, a apporté un délicieux dessert avec un message au chocolat. Nous reviendrons en tout cas."

"Located in a perfect oceanfront spot in Cardiff, this restaurant is a great choice for those looking for a beautiful view. Parking can be difficult, but they offer valet for $7, which is convenient. We requested a table by the ocean and were seated there without any issues. We started off with a cucumber jalapeño margarita and some sushi. I preferred the cucumber jalapeño drink for its kick, but found the agave too sweet. Their gluten-free and vegetarian menu options were a big plus for us, as my husband has a gluten sensitivity. The Cardiff roll we ordered was excellent, with fresh tuna and crab. The raw jalapeño on top added a nice touch, but may not be for everyone. Next time, I'd like to try their sunset roll with coconut shrimp. The short rib entree we shared was massive and delicious. The Brussels sprouts were a bit under seasoned and the potato gratin was mediocre. For dessert, we shared a coconut cheesecake, which my husband loved but I found just okay (I prefer chocolate). Overall, I'd definitely return to try more dishes."
