"Good Food - A Bit Pricey. Charleston's is hard to distinguish from Houston's. They look the same to me and have many of the same menu items. The decor is a beautiful hardwood with stone accents especially in the arches and windows. I love the look of this place. At night, it is too dark, so my preference is day light meals. The servers and host team are very good. They know their menu and keep the drinks full. They bring a new glass for each refill. It causes the table to get cluttered from time to time. The food itself is very good. They produce high quality meals that plate nicely. We started with the cream spinach artichoke dip. As always, it's wonderful. For the main meal, we ordered Soup & Salad, Walt's Champagne Chicken Salad, Enchalada Plate, Hickory Burger, and Charleston's Burger. The Charleston's Burger is no longer on the menu, but they will make it. All of the food was good. The Enchalada Plate has the best presentation. The Champagne Chicken Salad was my favorite. The bits of pineapple gave the salad a refreshing taste. My only knock on the place is the price. $15 salad's and $10 burgers are a bit much, but you are paying for a beautiful place to eat. Charleston's is a special occasion place for us. By the way, one of the best things on the menu is the $18 French Dip. They use prime rib and it melts with each bit. It is not stringy or chewy. Yes it's pricey, but man is it good."
