Catfish, meatloaf, burgers, chicken, and dumplins are your meat choices with multiple vegetables to choose as sides. Three are included with the meal. Save room for the extensive desert collection, including pie, cakes, tortes, and cupcakes. Lots of outside seating I assume is full in the summer"

So I have grown up in Dunlap/Sequatchie County. And the Cookie Jar is by far one of my favorite hometown places to eat at!! The staff are friendly and the food is awesome!! Keep it up guys and gals!!!

The main course was OK. The sides were not great. The desert was phenomenal. I had a carrot cake cupcake and it was moist and delicious. My server was very friendly but the front desk lady gave off a snooty vibe. Probably wouldn't go out of my way for a return visit.

Nice little place out of town over looking the mountains. Food was bland. The young men in the kitchen are need to have hair nets. What got me to stop eating is when we witnessed a young man, maybe 13 to 14 picking and rubbing his nose, and proceeded to handle a customer's food. Ver carta

Food was good but very limited menu with being more geared for dinner opposed to lunch and dinner. Unfortunately we went at lunch time ended up with a meal one would get at dinner time both my husband and I are on it more than once at home. Atmosphere was cafe set up in a home for the most part no booths. Pretty laid back atmosphere.

They only assigned 1 waitress to a party of 12. She worked really hard but couldn’t keep up on her own. I felt sorry for her, I tipped her just the same. That was a bad manager decision. Should have had 2, maybe even 3 waitresses for a group that size. My food was good but not everybody got their meal on time or the way they ordered it. I will go back, but not with a large group.
