"I am aware that there have been changes in food quality due to Covid, but my recent visit to Erics Deli was quite disappointing. I ordered the Total Turkey Feast, which did not live up to its former standards. I used to enjoy this dish once or twice during the holiday season. While there was plenty of turkey and stuffing, there was only a small amount of cranberry and no sauce at all. I also tried the "Texas Jailhouse" Chili, which was not as bean-filled, meaty, or chunky as it used to be. I will give Erics Deli one more chance, but if there is no improvement, I may try to recreate the old style dishes at home."

"We had an incredible evening. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Aura, who assisted us in making the perfect menu choices and checked in on us throughout the night. Umut, along with another team member, guided us through the BBQ experience. Umut immersed us in Turkish culture, teaching us the finer points of grilling. He even prepared Turkish tea on the grill, which was a delightful complement to his dessert sampler at the end of the meal. The chef's desserts, along with the entire BBQ experience, were absolutely delicious. We can't wait to come back!"

"Great place, great food. My family and I go here regularly as the rest of them are vegetarian. Merit successfully breaks the stereotype that vegan food protein is missing, and that the only thing that vegans eat is salads and is hands down one of the best restaurants in Santa Clara County. Food: I had most of their menus and it never disappointed me. The variety of specials they always leave something new to try to bring me back. Some of their dishes lack gravity and can be very dry, so if you order more than one dish, make sure that at least one engraving has. My favorites are the Spicy Delight and the Golden era, of which I would highly recommend to get if you have never before in Merit. Your desserts are all milk-free and ice-free, but you really can't say it; my vegan dessert exploits cannot hold a candle to the cakes they bake. However, they are frozen and in a refrigerator in the dining area that I really do not like to see, but at least they are open about it. Service: Service is always fast and all service employees are familiar with the menu. All waiting times are reasonable and I have never been hungry to regret the waiting period. Staff really try to help what I can't say about many of the restaurants I was. The ambience: nothing to complain. Everything is well lit, and there is always enough room to eat. Overall: If you are looking for a vegan restaurant that is slightly different than usual, or just a good restaurant in general, Merit is and always at the top of my list!"

"I was craving Mediterranean/halal food and I'm happy that I stumbled upon this restaurant while browsing thru Yelp. We ordered beef shawarma fries, half beef half chicken combo, and half chicken shawarma half butter chicken combo. The portions here are huge and hefty and they definitely don't skimp out here which is a plus! However, I wish they offered bigger plates or maybe sauces on the side to prevent overflow lol. The pita bread was nice and soft and the hummus was nice and fresh. I enjoyed their white sauce too which paired well with the meats. The salad gave a bit of a light citrus flavor which balanced out the whole meal. The meats were all cooked well and weren't dry. I encountered great service and was even offered 15% our bill if you follow the restaurant on Instagram! As for the ambiance, this place has a few booth tables to sit at and two TV's for entertainment. They even have nice cold complimentary water for those who dine in as well."

"I recently visited Everest Cuisine to try their dine-in option after being a loyal customer of their tandoori momos for a few years now. As soon as we walked in, we were seated promptly even though the restaurant was full. I was amazed by the variety on their menu, they had a lot of curries that I had never seen before in any other restaurant.We decided to order our favorite tandoori momos, Mango lassi and paneer vindaloo. To our surprise, this was the first time we found a restaurant that served vegetarian vindaloo. Very few restaurants have it, and it was amazing. The server was very sweet, and he helped us with our order.However, the food took longer than we expected, and we had to wait for 35 minutes which was frustrating. Although they did apologize for the delay, it was disappointing. Additionally, the prices at Everest Cuisine were on the higher side compared to other Indian restaurants in the area.To make matters worse, they charged us for lemon, chillies, and onion, which was unusual since no other restaurant we had visited did this. Despite this, the food was delicious, and the service was great.Overall, I would recommend Everest Cuisine to anyone who is willing to splurge on a delicious meal. Just be prepared to wait a little longer than usual and expect some extra charges on your bill."
