"I really enjoy the pizza at this place; it's consistently high quality and one of the most affordable options in the area. I prefer a darker crust and artisan-style bread for my pizza, and they always get it just right. The pizzas are always served hot when they come out. The staff is very friendly, providing good customer service, though it’s more relaxed and approachable rather than formal as you'd find in a five-star restaurant. I usually order takeout here."

"At least once a week we get trat pizza! Calimari, Greek salad pie, meat lovers, the vodka gramma and buffalo chicken are our family faves. Love the spaghetti w clam sauce, too. (Pasta not al dente. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20"

"The food writ large was mediocre; my King Dragon roll's sauce was clearly from a tube, and my boyfriend's yaki udon was mediocre at best. But the nigiri. My GOD. That fish was so fresh and well-prepared that I saw angels. I wish I'd gotten the sashimi, because it would've been proportionally more fish. Overall: Go here for sushi. Not the fancy stuff. Get the nigiri, or the sashimi. They do one thing and they do it well. Service: Dine in"

"Don’t go here unless you want to get rudely asked by the “owner” to leave after 2 hrs. We reserved a table for a work event and was NEVER told there was a time limit for each table. Not to mention, the food came out after 40 minutes. The waitress was nice but the owner is rude! He came over after 2 hrs and asked if we were almost done because he “needed our table”. One of the people we were with was actually still eating when he came over and 2 of us had just ordered a drink. He was extremely unprofessional with his approach. This is not how you conduct a business nor make your customers feel welcomed after spending a lot of hard earned money. I rather give my money business to an establishment where I am welcomed!"

"The Buffalo slice was quite good, earning a solid 6 out of 10. The Chicken Parm slice was decent but not exceptional, so I’d rate it around 4 or 5 out of 10. Unfortunately, the Margherita slice was quite disappointing; I'd give it only a 2 or 3 out of 10. The Marinara sauce also fell flat – it lacked flavor, to be honest. Overall, while this experience wasn't the best, the staff was really nice, and they do offer some decent options. There's enough potential to warrant another visit, and I would definitely recommend Maplewood Pizzeria for anyone in the MAPSO area looking for reasonably priced and tasty pizza. I think I'll have to try more items from their menu before making a final judgment!"
