I had lunch with a group of 10 yesterday, and the food was absolutely amazing! Everything was served quickly, piping hot, and clearly homemade. We had a great experience with the hostess and wait staff; the service was fast and friendly, and the food was excellent! I highly recommend stopping by and eating there if you’re in the area.

Although I don’t visit Leroy often, this restaurant is a must-try when I'm in the area. It has a lively atmosphere thanks to the renovated train station, and the service is charmingly old-fashioned. The warm muffins are delicious (we even bought some to take with us), and there’s a great selection of tasty diner-style dishes. The prices are quite reasonable too!

I'm really disappointed with my recent dining experiences. Each time I go out to eat, it seems like I end up receiving something different from what I ordered. For instance, I ordered the monsoon salad, which didn't list any carrots in the online photo or the menu description. However, when it arrived, it contained a large handful of shredded carrots mixed in, totally ruining my meal. Charming restaurant located in a railroad depot beside the tracks! The Delmonico steak was enormous and flavorful, even if it was a bit over the medium-rare doneness I requested. The stuffed baked potato was delicious, topped with broccoli, cheese, sour cream, and bacon. The senior-sized calves' liver with bacon and onions was incredibly tender and juicy, cooked to perfection with a fantastic taste. The Brussels sprouts were also excellent. A nice touch was the rolls and homemade muffins brought to our table before the entrée! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the owner made a point to check in at every table, even helping to clean up. I highly recommend this place!

Once again, D&R Depot Restaurant has received rave reviews for their outstanding catering services, even on short notice! At Lapp Insulators in Le Roy, we often host a diverse range of lunchtime guests, including key clients, European colleagues, and special employee gatherings. In the past two weeks, we've had visitors unexpectedly, with minimal details about attendance. We asked for customized menus on consecutive days, and the Depot exceeded our expectations! They even provided chafing dishes and elegant serving ware, setting everything up and cleaning up afterward without us having to ask—truly impressive! My dining companion and I both opted for the traditional turkey dinner and decided to take home some leftover turkey, gravy, and squash. Unfortunately, I can only give this experience a 3-star rating due to the small portion sizes, which this restaurant is known for, and the overwhelming amount of dark meat, which we don’t particularly enjoy. Given that turkey is a relatively inexpensive meat, serving such tiny portions seems unnecessary. Each of us received just one very thin slice of white meat, along with several pieces of dark meat.
