Plate was dirty, bowl with goldfish was dirty. When we pointed it out all was brought back with allot less food. 2nd time this happened. Well not be back!

Don't expect any good service from this Denny's just keep driving lol maggots roaches and mice they have all three how they pass the health inspection is beyond me

The Denny's in Mattoon consistently serves delicious food. The staff is attentive and always anticipates your needs. The restaurant has a spacious open layout with plenty of seating available. Ver carta

When we went to this restaurant for dinner, it wasn't very crowded. The food was surprisingly good, which is not always the case for this chain. Unfortunately, our server seemed to be missing for most of the meal.

Our server was very nice. It was mid-day and they we're a little under staffed for how busy there were. Most of the food was great. Do not get the egg whites or ask for real eggs. They tasted like sulfur and smelled funky. Our waitress promptly replaced them. Our daughter loved the chocolate pancakes.

The restaurant was very unassuming. We waited 15 minutes to be seated among the maybe 14 other customers. It took another 10 minutes to place our drink order and 15 minutes to correct it. The food arrived quickly but was mediocre. The two waiters did their best, considering the small staff, and remained polite and attentive. However, the busser seemed annoyed when asked to refill toilet paper in the restroom nearby. He expressed his frustration by slamming the door. It was clear he was overwhelmed with serving multiple tables and cleaning up after other customers. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience and I would not recommend this place. Ver carta
