"The prices on the specials menu were not what was charged. Checked in minutes before reservation still waited minutes past reservation time. Waiter did not come check on us entire time except to bring us the check when we were not done ordering. I had wanted to order edamame to eat in between rolls but the waiter did not come for minutes . I ran out of water did not get refill due to no one coming. For throwing down almost without alcohol still tip above base ticket for six sushi rolls, the specials were not discounted I did nto want to wait for the waiter to come to correct the pricing, both special rolls were each more than the sign outside doors in lobby for daily specials. for six rolls, no alcohol, minutes wait time with a reservation, no waiter for of my meal no water refills, not a great value for the ambieance. Poor service lack of attention quality for such an expensive place def a let down"

"Food poisoned by one of these rolls. I got the Philadelphia roll, Executive, and Lava roll. It was one of these because my girlfriend didn?t get sick from her noodle plate. I love affordable sushi but had hesitations at first when seeing the prices. The prices were too good to be true for the sushiand my instincts were right. 45 minutes after eating I had uncontrollable bowl (diarrhea) and felt like vomiting. It was pretty bad. If you do decide to go here, the calamari was super good. That?s for 2 stars."

"Makanmakan seems to follow this pattern. While the food was edible, it was ultimately forgettable. I ordered a clear noodle dish with jumbo prawns (which were sparse) and smoked pork, but it arrived as a mushy mix rather than a distinct combination of noodles, vegetables, and meat. The steamed rice, which is always a good indicator of a restaurant's quality, was disappointing and mushy—reminiscent of Denny's rather than authentic, high-quality sticky rice that they should be serving. It seems that they are cutting corners, likely to save money, as sticky rice would require a greater investment. While the food was satisfactory, it didn’t leave a lasting impression. Truly excellent meals create memories that make you eager to return, and Makanmakan falls short of this standard. The atmosphere, with its noisy concrete floors, didn’t help either, though I must commend the service, which was attentive and commendable. However, I doubt I will return in the future."

"Really really awesome! I'd highly recommend this place. If you love Indian food or even flavors you need to try this place! We got here with our daughter and her husband and found out one of my husband's old friends owns this place! What? Ok here is my tip for you.... do not under any circumstance try to make a regular ol pizza. It will not work. That's not what this place is. Just trust the process and pick one and go with it. Also, they have vegan options which is huge. AND..... the cauliflower pizza crust is truly amazing. You cannot tell a difference from the Naan. (The Naan and vegan Naan are also amazing! My son in law got the butter chicken and said it was amazing. My daughter got the mango korma pizza and also said it was really good. We got the the cheese Naan and garlic Naan which were amazing! The garlic Naan was delicious. I'd eat just that. My husband got the mango korma as well vegan style which was seriously amazing! They have a fake chicken, ficken (that's what we call it and it is a good sub. The flavor is so good. I did the lame thing and made a regular pizza and it was not nearly as good. I did a build your own with marinara, spinach, green peppers, pineapple, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. Not great. It was fine but trust me when I say.... get a specialty curry pizza! They will actually let you sub something, they are all so nice there! And then! Bhinda made us his pizza. Ok. If you like heat, this is the pizza for you. The flavors are so complex but you can taste them all, the spice doesn't hit you right away and then BAM! There it is. If you need help getting through this just order a Lassi it will help with the heat. Both flavors are great! Good luck if you get the Bhinda pizza and enjoy!"

"Read few reviews about this restaurant before stepping in. Not a very big place, but solves the purpose of delightful eats! Yes, its completely worth every cent expect chicken biryani part. We ordered chicken tikka dosa and I never had such tasty dosaanywhere in US till date. The sambar which came it with just reminds you of hotels in Southern India (Bangalore). The non-vegplatter was good and plenty but I felt some pieces of chicken were not that fresh. Same goes for chicken biryani (you lost astar there) . Top notch was chettinad curry. It was delicious with right spice level we had asked for. This restaurant was justenroute from Utah to Washington, I dont think I will be able to visit it again. But if I get chance to visit Salt Lake City,then definite another visit to this place."
