"Very mediocre tonight. Seem short staffed the bartender was covering most of the pub room and didn't have time to make drinks for the other waitresses guests so we all waited until the bar tender had fully taken care of all her tables. Wanted to sit at the bar but were told we needed a reservation for bar seats? When did that start O's never took reservations for the bar. And the seats remained 1/2 empty as waited, and ate and finished up. The hostess showed up at 6:30 and didn't seem interested in how anything was with all the guests she never approached anyone to check in. Needless to say I was super disappointed. At least our waitress finally just got our glasses of wine for us herself since the bartender clearly had no intention of getting to us. Won't be going back soon, at least not this winter."

"The Downtown Grille Café is located in downtown Wolfeboro across the street from the post office and is open for breakfast and lunch. I've been there many times for lunch and have ordered something different every time. Prices are fair, taste is good, quality is there, and service is friendly. Very nice, comfortable, clean dining area in the backroom with nice water views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the town docks. There is also a small semi-private room where you can have a quick informal meeting or a short family gathering. The Grille is adjacent to Cate Park which makes it convenient for grab and go with breakfast items and sandwiches to enjoy outside dining on the benches there. Nice selection of coffees."

"Yum Yum Shop is an absolute delight for any ice cream lover like myself! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with friendly and attentive staff. The cashier took my order even though i wasnt even in the cashier line. They have colorful decor like blueberries and gingerbreadYum Yum Shop offers a decent selection of flavors that cater to every palate. We got the strawberry cheesecake, maple walnut, and peanut butter. The small cup was already really big.What sets Yum Yum Shop apart is their attention to detail when it comes to presentation. Each scoop is beautifully crafted, making it an absolute feast for the eyes. Their bakery items look so amazing too.In conclusion, Yum Yum Shop is a haven for ice cream enthusiasts and sugar lovers. With their incredible flavors, impeccable presentation, and outstanding service, it's a place that keeps me coming back for more. "The Wolfetrap Grill Rawbar is a comfortable and very busy restaurant with good food and excellent service. We were fortunate to get a waterside table out on the deck to enjoy a beautiful New Hampshire evening with a great view. My wife ordered the Grilled Salmon which came with a Thai peanut glaze, whipped potato and sautéed baby spinach. She enjoyed it very much. I ordered the Caesar Salad and the Lobster Bisque. The salad was crisp and green but a tad too heavy with the dressing. On the plus side, the salad had been pre tossed with the dressing so it was evenly coated everywhere. And Wolfetrap must make its own Caesar dressing because it is much better than the usual faire you get at other restaurants just a few steps below having a real Caesar made right at your table and at a far lower price. The Lobster Bique I did not enjoy and returned it because it was so salty. The restaurant immediately apologized and removed it from my bill without my having to ask, and I ordered the Peel and Eat Shrimp in its place. The shrimp were perfectly spiced, plump and delicious! Paired with an icy cold Stoneface Double IPA, it was a very enjoyable meal and we will be back for more."

"I had a wonderful dinner overlooking the lake while seated on the downstairs deck, enjoying the beautiful view in a relaxing early evening atmosphere. We shared a Caesar salad and the five-spice salmon entree, both of which were delicious and light. The Penny Island cocktail was their take on a vodka mule and it was fantastic! They also had a good selection of wines. The service was excellent, thanks to our server Aedan and our busser Kenzie. Both contributed to a fun dining experience with friendly conversation and prompt service. I will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant!"
