Food is good here. Prices have skyrocketed in the last few years. Customer is now charged for chips and salsa. Service is inconsistent and always seem harried. Cramped. Used to be a given to go here but now it's overpriced and not the greatest experience.

Waited for 20 minutes after being seated before getting up and walking out. The waitress looked at us, said nothing and continued to ignore my daughter and I. the best authentic Mexican food by far! the personal was so courteous. when my friends and I came in hunger! the staff was ready to close, but happy served us with huge smiles on their faces! the margaritas were fabulous and the food was amazing! guacamole was so delicious that we ordered our first stop when we visit wolfeboro again! thank you!

We always enjoy El Centenario in Wolfeboro. We go over by boat and walk to the restaurant. The owners are from Puebla, MX and their food is authentic Mexican. Mom Beatrice, daughter Racquel, and son Izzy (chef) are wonderful. The margaritas are terrific, especially the jalapeño version. The mole is amazing. We have tried many of their entrees and they are all delicious. Highly recommend.

The restaurant offers pleasant outdoor seating and the service was friendly and accommodating. However, the food was mediocre. The veggie quesadillas were bland and undercooked, with the tortilla lacking any browning and seemed to be lacking oil. The dish was accompanied by a small amount of guacamole and sour cream, which helped enhance the flavor slightly, but I could easily make a tastier version at home. This is literally the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Steak fajitas were exactly four pieces of meat in each container, and about a pound of limp onions and peppers. $30. Chips and queso? That's a joke, right? It was literally a half a bag of shredded cheese from a grocery store melted in a styrofoam container. Were we.. supposed to use the chips with this somehow? Maybe by slicing the grease block and adding the pieces to the tops on the chips? Can I have my $80 back? Seriously?

After waiting in the ER for my husband to be transferred to Catholic Medical Center, I was hungry and decided to stop at a nearby restaurant. I noticed they had a chicken burrito on the menu and placed my order. After a 5-minute wait, I received my food and was disappointed in the taste, quality, and size of the burrito, especially considering the $19.53 price tag which included tax. The burrito had wilted, brown lettuce which I had to remove, very little rice, and no beans. The excessive amount of refried beans and sour cream overpowered the taste and there was hardly any chicken to be found. I doubt I will return to this restaurant, as I have had much better burritos elsewhere.

Man, talk about a disappointing experience. My girlfriend and I, craving some Mexican food, decided to look up some of the favorite spots in the region. We noted this spot on Yelp over in Wolfeboro with surprisingly decent reviews. Awesome! Let 's go check it out. It was busy for a Sunday night, but the weather was great and the hostess could seat us outside at a small table very quickly. Score! After some back and fourth, we decided on our entrees; A $20+ steak burrito for myself (hey were on vacation, right? and the chicken enchilada plate for the Mrs. One teensy little request by the GF, Please don 't make it too saucy, I would prefer it slightly dryer she says to our waiter, Chad, or Log...
