"We were really looking forward to eating here but sadly turned out to be a not so good experience. The wait staff was?. Well let?s just say not the right job for them. We overheard the other table being told that it was going to take her a bit on thedrinks because she isn?t very fast at making them. We were a table of 2 and they had 12 people. We arrived before they did. Theygot their drinks before we did and started getting their food before we did. When their food started coming out, it was broughtout 1 or 2 plates at a time. Then one of the waitresses came over to let me know that she had dropped my plate on the floor andit was being remade. My husband ordered the ?chops? which if you read on is really only a CHOP and my chicken fried steak was ahamburger patty and the veggie with my meal was out so they substituted and hoped it was ok without checking with me 1st, sothey basically put some stuff on my plate that luckily I was ok to eat. Both were served on a salad plate not a dinner plate butthey definitely charge for a dinner portion. They were out of a lot of stuff so options were limited anyway. Nothing more thana glorified concession stand. If you want fine dining this is not the place to go. Definitely not worth the . Verydisappointed?"

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic and they offer the lowest gas prices in the area. However, the staff appear unkempt and it can be difficult to receive a greeting when entering. Sometimes it is a challenge to get served because they are often chatting in the back. They may appear to ignore you, but if you are able to get someone's attention, the service is good."

"I ALWAYS try to give them the benefit of the doubt , given I have worked in the food service I personally know how it can be sometimes. As for our visit here , we stopped by while on vacation , left very disappointed, will not be back definitely wouldn’t recommend this. Service is #1 always! We walked in through the main entrance , talked to one girl who said sit wherever you want , we’ll be right with you. So we seat ourselves in the patio area, 20minutes go by and we still haven’t seen a server , no menus , no drinks. Another server comes out and wipes off a table , asks if we’ve been helped, no we hadn’t , we wait 15 more minutes , I go in and just ask to get a menu, told he was on his way to me as he’s talking to another worker. Again , I know how it gets sometimes but the restaurant was not busy, this was a Tuesday. Finally we get menus watered down drinks , no straws, fine , we goto order the server doesn’t use his book which I would assume is the reason he messed up our very simple orders. No refills, no one checked on us after we got our food. Disappointing, this place has a great atmosphere it has potential but lack of service or clearly lack of communication. We were there for an hour a half before we got our food total. There was 2 other tables near by I could overhear wasn’t happy."

"We are vacationing in town this week and someone recommended Bogies for Halloween because they would have live music. We decided to give it a try. The server was friendly and efficient. We decided to try the special which included a pub buffet (deviled eggs, pinwheels, ham cheese sliders, wings, cocktail sausages in BBQ sauce, crackers and 2 kinds of dip, pizza, and cookies) and one alcoholic beverage for $5. The music was good and the place drew a big crowd of costumed patrons. We enjoyed our food and drink and stayed for about an hour. If this is the kind of activity you are looking for, this is a good place to go."

"The owner of the restaurant was surprisingly unwelcoming to customers, turning them away and expressing constant stress. Despite customers wanting to dine in, she seemed preoccupied and rude, making them feel unwelcome. When a table opened up, we sat down only to be scolded for moving the owner's items. She made it clear that she was busy and not interested in providing good service. It was a disappointing experience overall, and I suggested to incoming customers to be cautious. The lack of hospitality and negative attitude from the owner and waitress was off-putting. It was my first time there, and despite complimenting the food and atmosphere, the owner barely acknowledged it. A smile and welcoming attitude go a long way in the restaurant industry. I left a minimal tip in hopes that the message would be received. Negativity should not be brought into a business, and it's unfortunate that one bad experience can tarnish the reputation of the industry. In the future, I will seek out places where I can serve myself."
