"I visited Hoja Santa on a hot August night and noticed there was no air conditioning inside, plus there was an unpleasant smell upon entering. The service, however, was excellent—the waiter was very attentive. Prices were reasonable; with two entrees, an appetizer, and two drinks, my bill came to $90 including tip. The shrimp tacos were fantastic, but the enchiladas were overly salty—I even had trouble sleeping afterward. Despite the saltiness, I kept eating because I was so hungry. Overall, I believe there are better spots in Astoria where you can spend $90 and enjoy better food with air conditioning."
