"Visited The Commissary on a Wednesday night and it was so great! The atmosphere was rustic and nostalgic, the staff was as friendly as could be, and the ribs were SO good! Me and another person split a full slab and they were everything I expected it to be. Tender, Smokey and seasoned well. We also ordered the bbq nachos and those were a hit! Delicious with amazing and generous portions. I wanted to try a local spot not some tourist trap and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was fantastic. My waitress was amazing. The food was delicious. Portions were huge. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

We ordered the Boss Hog Special and added the bologna burnt ends plate. The bologna was good, nothing special to it. All the other meats were good. The brisket was my least favorite but other than that it was all good. Probably one of the best places in the Memphis area to get a meat plate. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch
