"I visited this restaurant on Christmas Day, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. I understand that staffing challenges can affect service during busy times, the overall experience was disappointing, especially given the occasion. We arrived for our 7:00 PM reservation at 6:45 PM and ordered promptly. However, we didn’t receive our food until around 8:15 PM, a wait of nearly an hour and a half for a party of six. The appetizers took about an hour to arrive. This was particularly difficult with two young children in our group who were tired and close to falling asleep. When we requested to speak with the manager, she arrived 15 minutes later and informed us that we had been waiting for 52 minutes (snotty attitude and all) speaking to us with a noticeable lack of empathy. She offered a 20% discount on dessert, though, given that most of us were exhausted, it seemed unlikely we would take her up on the offer. Her apology felt insincere, which further compounded our frustration. What was particularly concerning was that a larger group, which had arrived nearly 30 minutes after us, was served their meal and dessert before we even received our food. When our meals finally arrived, they were underwhelming: the chicken sandwich was dry, and the fresh catch of the day, which was advertised with a mango flavor, had only a few small pieces of mango sprinkled on top. The food was not only mediocre but also priced at an unjustifiable $400 for the group. On a positive note, the restaurant’s atmosphere was pleasant, with a beautiful ocean view and live music, which helped to salvage some of the experience. Our waitress was attentive and hardworking, though, unfortunately, I don’t recall her name. She did her best under difficult circumstances and was one of the few bright spots during our visit. Ultimately, the poor service, long wait, and lackluster food made this Christmas meal far from enjoyable. It’s disappointing when a restaurant with a good reputation fails to deliver, and I hope that future guests have a better experience than we did."

Great atmosphere. There was a live band playing Jimmy Buffett songs, and they sounded great! Open air dining room was very pleasant. Service was fine, not overly attentive or personable, but we didn’t feel ignored. Food on the other hand was meh. I had a caesar salad that had a very bland dressing. Kids had a shrimp and pasta dish with a red pepper “sauce” that was more like soup, and not very tasty. My husband liked his fish dish. Sorry, would not return, regardless of how good the band is. Beverly deserves a huge shout-out! She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure every customer feels welcome and has a fantastic time. Her friendly demeanor and quick wit create such a positive atmosphere to bring you back and create repeat customers (even if on vacation) Hence we returned because of her and Phil. I am vegan and they recommended The Beet Tacos which were so awesome and the reason for our return visit. The music is wonderful as an extra as it’s not crazy loud, yet entertaining and enjoyable.
