"They claim to be a sports bar, but during the third quarter of the NFC Divisional Playoff game, they moved all the tables, which obstructed our view of the televisions that were all on one wall. As a result, we had to stand with the crowd to watch the game while a DJ started blasting loud club music, despite everyone in the bar still being focused on the game. I eventually spoke to the manager, Justin, and asked if they could at least turn on the sound. He told me that it was their policy not to turn on the sound once the DJ started, and he was quite rude, walking away while I was still talking to him. I then talked to Georgia, the general manager, who listened to my concerns and acknowledged that not having the sound on was a mistake, but she chose not to do anything about it in order to avoid undermining her manager. Overall, my experience at Hizemans was terrible, and I would recommend going to a different sports bar that values its customers and the games. P.S. The food looked great in the pictures online, but it was below par, even for bar food standards."

I sat at the bar. The bartender was really nice. He made me a drink. I can't remember the name but it was bourbon based and very tasty. I had the crispy shrimp tacos. They were delicious

Hizeman’s is a neighborhood sports bar and restaurant located in the heart of downtown. It offers above-average food and a good variety of drinks. The high, open ceiling can make it a bit noisy at times, but it's an excellent spot to catch a sporting event on one of the many TVs while enjoying delicious food. Ver carta

The restaurant has a charming ambiance, featuring creatively crafted cocktails and an enjoyable menu. However, the service was somewhat disorganized; the servers didn't take notes on orders, resulting in dishes being served separately as they had to return multiple times to clarify what was ordered. On the positive side, they were friendly throughout.

Limited menu but everything we had was good. A few more appetizer and sandwich options would be great. Place wasn’t busy but took awhile to get water refills and drinks ordered. Ambience was almost non-existent. Touted as a sports bar but aside from a lot of weirdly spaced TV’s, there wasn’t much else sporty about it but the name. Weird yellow fluorescent lighting added an odd glow off the tin walls. Not sure it’s worth a return visit or the cost.
