"Limited menu but everything we had was good. A few more appetizer and sandwich options would be great. Place wasn’t busy but took awhile to get water refills and drinks ordered. Ambience was almost non-existent. Touted as a sports bar but aside from a lot of weirdly spaced TV’s, there wasn’t much else sporty about it but the name. Weird yellow fluorescent lighting added an odd glow off the tin walls. Not sure it’s worth a return visit or the cost."

I sat at the bar. The bartender was really nice. He made me a drink. I can't remember the name but it was bourbon based and very tasty. I had the crispy shrimp tacos. They were delicious

Hizeman’s is a neighborhood sports bar and restaurant located in the heart of downtown. It offers above-average food and a good variety of drinks. The high, open ceiling can make it a bit noisy at times, but it's an excellent spot to catch a sporting event on one of the many TVs while enjoying delicious food. Voir le carte

The restaurant has a charming ambiance, featuring creatively crafted cocktails and an enjoyable menu. However, the service was somewhat disorganized; the servers didn't take notes on orders, resulting in dishes being served separately as they had to return multiple times to clarify what was ordered. On the positive side, they were friendly throughout.

The food was unremarkable, as everything seemed to be heavily covered in hot sauce, honey, or mayonnaise. We went in expecting a sports bar atmosphere to enjoy playoff football, but ended up being asked to leave our seats while they transformed the bar into a nightclub. No thanks. The only bright spot was our waitress, who was friendly; otherwise, this would have earned a one-star rating.
