Look I don’t do this a lot but as a Philly transplant I have to say this is honestly the best steak sandwich I’ve had outside the Philly area. It tastes like home. And they’re great people. Go here.

Love this place my grandparents brought me here when I was little. I will drive an hour just to get a grinder from here the staff is all family and have been there as long as I can remember great people highly recommend it Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a fantastic experience with quick and friendly service. The portions were quite substantial, and the atmosphere was laid-back. I ordered takeout for lunch, and the price per person fell between $30 and $50. I'd rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Steak Hoagie!

I ordered the Fish and Chips while my friend opted for the Shrimp Basket. Both dishes were delicious and served hot, with the fries being absolutely outstanding. My fish was fantastic as well. My friend received a generous portion of shrimp with his meal, and he thought they were excellent. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. Ver carta

Having grown up north of Philly and know what a real hoagie should be this is the place I go for hoagies and cheesesteaks . Portions are generous and a large hoagie can easily become 2 meals, whether you have them put on oil and vinegar on your hoagie or vinegar and oil. Great place for wonderful diner (not breakfast) food. They make their own hamburgers from fresh meat not frozen. Found that out last time I was there, when I got the hot hamburg platter. Service is wonderful. The dining room is dated but that is the charm of the restaurant. Even though it is dated it is sparkling clean and well maintained. It is one of my favorite lunch places. Not sure how to rate Hoagie Hut. Food is large portioned but not really tasty. Fries were odd tasting. Not sure if it was old oil or freezer burnt. Not horrible either. Service was a little gruff but not horrible. Environment is definitely dated, kinda question cleanliness. This is the kind of place that has return customers that started going here 45 years ago. I can’t recommend dining here but I can’t say it was that disgusting. I ate my meal. I would just never say, wow lets go to hoagie hut for dinner. Ver carta
