Hunan River Bistro - Carta

The food was just ok. I would not recommend. The hot and sour soup tasted oily. The steamed dumplings tasted off, like maybe they were previously frozen. The service was adequate but did not make up for the sub par food.

Coming here for a long time . My latest trip has me second guessing myself . The lunch special ends at 3:00. I was seated at 3:00 with menu at 3:04. Could not order lunch menu ! There's two other Chinese places close by and will give them a try . Ridiculous

Most favorite Asian restaurant in Cypress. 98% of the time we did take out. Excellent General Tso Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Cashew Chicken (usually substituted beans for the broccoli, Skewer Beef, and Hot Sour Soup. We usually ordered take out every2-3 weeks. Delicious! Ver carta

The quality has slid quite a bit. I ordered 2 orders of dumplings and they were undercooked. The main dishes like lo mein and fried rice appear to come straight out of a box. The beef with broccoli and egg drop soup was the only palatable food we received. The rest was tossed in the trash.

Disappointingly sad portions. Ordered $100 worth of food and it looked like $50 worth of food. I have never returned food here. I don?t have a history of returning or complaining about food. The first time I do and I?m treated as if my business doesn?tmatter. Was actually told to count the chicken cause it?s a standard portion. I won?t be returning.

So me and my family has been to this restaurant a couple times and we all enjoyed the experience. The food was served quickly, the customer service were also amazing. The food they serve also tastes amazing, such as the sweet and sour chicken, but one or two times the food doesn?t come out as hot as it usually does. I would definitely take my family back there to dine again. Ver carta

Been here before but this was my first for deliver. Took over an hour but I understand it?s a Saturday night and food was still warm. However I was completely upset about the amount of chicken in one of the dishes for 12/13 an entree I expect more than what was received the container was half full.I don?t play about my portions. Pics Compared to my other dish that was completely full

I did take out of the pupu plater I do realize that most is fried and I know that. I have been before my favorite dish twice cooked pork is no longer on the menu. But to my most recent experience the shrimp toast was so very over fried all you tasted was the grease as with all the fried options. The grilled options were just as disappointing. I must say I did end up throwing a great portion of it away.

First time here, and very impressed. I will definitely be back. Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere, very relaxed and very clean.My daughter's shrimp fried rice was really light and flavorful, not overly greasy. The beef and veggies in my Szechuan Beef were also perfectly cooked. I would have preferred it a little spicier, but I'll add red pepper flakes to what I have left when I get home.We don't get to go out much lately, and it was a very nice treat.
