Our $41.00 per plate steak lunch was simply awful. Steaks were way overcooked, grizzly and so salty we could not eat them. Salad came after the meal after we had to ask for it) as did our water , and the server was obviously not trained in customer service. Went in and was told we could sit in the bar and order food. Wife and I sat at a table in the bar area. 10 minutes went by, and so did at least 5 wait staff. No one greeted us, told us they'd be right with us or said anything. Too bad. We usually like this place. Guess they didn't want our business/money. PS: It wasn't crowded. Not going back. Went to Johnny's Italian Steakhouse for a special occasion, and they did not disappoint us. They have a marvelous reputation for food quality, service, and dining atmosphere to enjoy your outing. They delivered on all accounts. Our waiter was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. His recommendations were spot on, IMHO. My only issue was how cool the room was.
