The Mexican-style tacos and other dishes were quite good. The service was extremely friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

Food is very good best menudo I had in Katy. Ordered it on a Thursday which is rare to find on a weekday. Definitely would be going back.

If you're in the Katy area, you have to try the breakfast tacos on Mason Rd. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and the place is kept clean. The dining room is pleasant and offers plenty of seating. Prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food is excellent—fresh and authentic! I always make a point to stop by for breakfast tacos before heading to work. Highly recommend! Ver carta

No-frills name, but the food is EXCELLENT and authentically Mexican! Just to clarify, this is not Tex-Mex; the tacos were made and served just like the street tacos I've enjoyed in Mexico. It was a delight to discover this small gem amidst the many larger restaurants that may have great ambiance but only offer average food. Katy Tacos offers great value and is truly outstanding in both flavor and service. I highly recommend it!

We'll to who ever write bad reviews in this place , let me tell you this , if you expect to have a continental breakfast or a 3 star Michelin star breakfasts !! We'll then you come to the wrong place !! .. for me this little restaurant have potential , although it's missing DECOR the one it have portrayed sadness,it's outdated).. service it's very decent, food ?? We'll for breakfast it seems to have everything you look for customary mexican dishes , just plain and simple food nothing out of the ordinary, but very tasty food , presentation ?? Really ?? Don't expect much ...but you would Walk out full !!! And satisfied !!!

I really wanted to like this place. The menu selections sounded so promising, but I would never go back again. The Horchata was gritty and weirdly slimy. Their Agua de Limon was weak. The portions on their Huevos con Chorizo breakfast platter were ridiculously small. The refried beans had a very watery consistency. The potato portion was super skimpy. The egg portion was enough to make about two tacos. I spent over $30 for breakfast and literally, had to go to another place to get more food to not be hungry. I really wish the Taqueria Arandas down the street had made it through the pandemic. Taco Bell's breakfast is better than this and I'm not a Taco Bell fan. Ver carta
