After spending 5 days grilling smoked food at our cottage, we decided to take our kids and friends out for dinner at Kelly's Venture Inn based on recommendations of their excellent food and great pizza. However, upon arrival with our group of 10, we were denied the ability to bring in a special dietary drink for a child with diabetes, even after offering to pour it into a cup. The waitress and owner/manager were rude and made a scene, accusing us of trying to smuggle in alcohol. We decided to leave and went to the Daily Limit on Grand Lake instead, where we received fantastic service from Pam who allowed us to bring in the drink.
