"I have a deep love for Mexican cuisine, and La Mesa is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I've ever experienced. The food is extraordinarily delicious, with the street tacos featuring an abundance of toppings and perfectly seasoned meat. The sopapilla is simply divine. Listen if you are within like 100 miles of Barstow, CA this is a must stop! Holy smokes was it amazing. We had a cali borrito, taquitos, street tacos, sopapilla taco, and a quesadilla plus some strawberry churros. Everything was amazing. The Chicken was outstanding! The staff was super friendly.
