"I was very disappointed in my meal. There was a last minute change to the menu, fully understandable. However, when your menu states the meal comes with a mound of crab and they deliver a half a crab in the shell...no. They had added $10 to the meal for this crab replacement of the scallops and I didn't eat a bite of crab. I didn't go to pay $80 for a plate of food I have to get filthy to eat. They brought no extra napkins, no tiny fork, just cheap crackers and a bowl. On top of all that, the ONLY thing on the plate that was edible was the steak. A dry piece of meat, no sauces, though to be fair a decent cut cooked properly. The vegetables were not cooked. I literally could not cut the carrots with any knife on the table, including the steak knife. The fancy potatoe base of the plate that was just hashbrown potatoes were so oily they were inedible. That said, my husband's halibut was quite good, just $15-20 overpriced. Our server was friendly and competent. Lastly, I found it odd that a restaurant in that price range would dress its staff like loggers. Flannel plaid and jeans takes away from the experience. The view is nice, but none of it was worth the price."

"bright, pleasant, crunchy are the cakes come to think my mind, back two culinary experiences that we had during our short trip to oregon coast. we had vegan szechuan stir fry, tofu salat and pad thai nudel. the szechuan court was so good that we repeated. the sauce is light, brittle, juicy, offers a signature taste point, without exaggerating the veggies in the mix. I can not count how many vegetables were in the mix, we see, brokkoli, mushroom, flower cabbage, cellar, carrots, planks, paprika, water chestnut (extra grateful for it) each veg is cut into perfect to size and probably roast in wok for very short time with extra high heat. the Veg texture is cooked by, but light and crispy it was really delightful. pad thai was also loaded with probably beautiful vegetables, and reisnudels were soft and sticky as they should be. Let's not forget the sauce. I loved a wonderful mix of sweet, tangy, salty, spicy, all aromen. I wish I could eat 100 of this pad thai entree to me home. eat healthy and cesty. covid care three outdoor picnic tables are ok for diving. in togo style. no menu. atmosphere beachy homey casual. no sea view. service accommodation, smiling, friendly. parking space in front of location, kies."

"Amelia has taken my order for me a couple times now since I’ve been staying in town for work. She is absolutely 100 thorough and even reminds me about other easily overlooked additions to my dishes asked if I wanted lemon for my fish and chips, I totally spaced even asking. Total life saver). I really appreciate someone who takes the time to make sure a dining experience is pleasant and to expectations. WE NEED MORE AMELIAS!!! The food is always amazing and fresh. The salads are AMAZING and the fried banana peppers in the calamari is to die for. Definitely a life long customer of pelican pub."

"The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, and the waitstaff were both attentive and friendly. However, I found the food disappointing; it felt more like something off the shelf rather than freshly made. I couldn't manage to eat the chowder—it lacked flavor, was clumpy, and didn't contain any lobster or crab. Given that it was supposed to be a bourbon corn chowder with seafood, it was practically inedible, and I regretted spending $9 on it. The prices seemed steep for the quality of food offered. The "Asian" rice that accompanied my $23 prawn duo was dry and completely flavorless. The coconut shrimp tasted like it came from a box. The only item we somewhat enjoyed were the wings, but even they didn't justify the $17 price tag. Overall, I wouldn't return; I spent $70 and left feeling unsatisfied."

"This restaurant with an in-house bakery and coffee shop offers vegan options. Unfortunately, the vegan breakfast sandwich is often sold out due to supply chain issues with Just Egg, not because they are actually selling out. The hand-written menu often has a "sold out" sign, which can be misleading for customers who may think it will be available again the next day. I opted for the veggie flatbread instead, which was a round, fluffy piece of soft focaccia topped with roasted veggies, tiny vegan smoked Gouda pieces, and olives. I also added a side of their vegan cream cheese, which was quite tasty. While the vegan muffuletta was not on the menu, they did offer a summer vegan salad. I did not have a chance to try their baked goods, but they did have a few vegan options like coffee cake, a chocolate cupcake, and a chocolate chunk cookie. Overall, this is one of the few places in town with multiple vegan breakfast items, which I appreciated. Updated from a previous review on 2023-09-18."
