On our way back from a weekend in New York, we found ourselves craving a hearty meal. The positive reviews for this restaurant grabbed our attention...

The food was excellent (though be careful not to make any modifications, as it might upset the chef) but the service was terrible, making it not worth a visit.

Great little spot on the water. Building and atmosphere are fun and relaxing. Food was fresh and tasty. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and helped me with information about the area. I would definitely recommend Mallards. Ver carta

Food and location was good. Service was good also but got 1 started for hidden 3% surcharge for inflation . Not written on menu, not posted in restaurant, never told by anyone until I asked about it when I got the check. Hidden fee, no good. Won 't be back for that reason alone.

What a nice find!!! Just left after dinner (7 of us). Everyone was very welcoming and the food was amazing!!!! The tuna poke was one of the best ones I've ever had! We came in as a party of 7 about 45 minutes before closing time. We knew we had to be out in a timely manner but they never made us feel like we a bother. The food was delicious! The service was top notch! If we lived around here, we could be frequent visitors, just passing through. Definitely stop by if in the area! Oh, and we walked out at 9:29pm!

We recently had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Mallards on the wharf,and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely outstanding—both the steak and mahi were cooked to perfection, and the clam linguine was loaded with clams. To top it all off, there was a fantastic band playing on the deck that everyone enjoyed. The combination of great food and live music made for a perfect evening. Thank you to the team at Mallards for making our rehearsal dinner so special!

Mallards and Chef Johnny Mo were incredible. We went for our 18th anniversary and I had emailed ahead and asked for a special request that meant the world to my wife and the Chef absolutely delivered creating a custom appetizer for us and then delivering a 4 course meal for two that was amazing. They saved the table overlooking the wharf and Lynn made our service and night as perfect as we could of hoped. The entire staff were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed every bite of dinner. I would highly recommend Johnny Mo's specialty, his crab cakes, the beef medallions melted in your mouth and the key lime 7 layer cake was something I've never had before and would drive 2 hours to eat again!
