"Mesero is one of my favorite places. I normally frequent the Southlake Inwood Village. Ft. Worth’s location is just as beautiful. The appetizers and drinks delicious! The appetizers were deliscious bacon wrapped shrimp, chicken quesadilla were delicious. I took friends that hadn’t been before and always hear me brag on it. We were all pretty pleased until the main course. I had one of my favorites, the Chairman. It braised pork with a delicious sauce, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Normally it is as wonderful as it sounds. It was fork tender and a good portion but the flavor at the Ft. Worth location was lacking! My other two locations have never had that problem over the years. Our waitress noticed I didn’t eat much of it after my friend pointed it out. I told her I needed a box so I could doctor it at home. Please work on the flavor profile because it’s too good of a dish not to get perfect. I still love Mesero, the Ft. Worth location just may be one I frequent less or try something different."

This is one of my favorite places to come to with friends or family. Food is great and so is the service.

Cesar was awesome. The drinks were amazing. The food was good but not great. The experience as a whole was nice!

The food at Mesero is phenomenal! The restaurant is a bit too bright for my liking, but it was during brunch after all.

All of the dishes we ordered were tasty and our servers provided great service. It was crowded and noisy on a Saturday night, but thankfully we were seated in a booth, which offered a quieter dining experience. The prices were reasonable and we would definitely return for another meal. Ver carta

Wayyyy to loud with all the sorority girls and their dates. Heard they do not check IDs and it was so obvious. Drunk girls lined up in the restroom. Tried to have a long awaited girls get together and it was not enjoyable. The only saving grace: our young server was a gentleman and food was good.

Generally a good food at a good price. Service seemed erratic and slow. Background music was too loud, causing everyone at the restaurant to shout to be heard. Finally, bathroom stall in men's did not flush needs to be fixed right away (and probably will be). Bathroom cleaning needs more attention.

Always a wonderful experience at Mesero. It’s one of our go-tos when we are entertaining out of town guests and never disappoints. White queso and cinco leches cake are must-orders, and margaritas are strong and delicious — if you’re not in the mood for margaritas, give the sangria a try. Be sure to order a side of mole sauce for the chips. Ambiance is lively, and seating in the bar area can get loud on weekends. Ver carta

We arrived with our reservation and the table was set. The waiter took our orders for drinks and food. When the food was brought to table 2 orders were incorrect. We told the waiter, and he came back and asked once again what the order was. Never once an apology for his error. The service was downhill from there. When order was paid the items that were incorrect we added to ticket and ran on card, had to have manager cancel and run card again. Just such a disappointing service given for such a great place to eat.

We eat at Mesero a lot. We enjoy the food. We have celiac (3 of us) and this is a place we can eat and stay safe. Today was graduation which i understand is a busy day. However our server was not at all attentive and we waited quite a long time for drinks. We then had to flag down another server to order. The waiter appeared to be new and frazzled dropping off one item at a time so it took three or four trips to get two iced teas and appetizers queso. The other waiters noticed we needed refills and chips which was nice. It took him a total of 5 trips to our table to get to go boxes and checks. People arriving much later than us had eaten and left before we got our food. All in all an ok expe...

"On my first visit, I tried the Southern Shrimp and Grits, which were simply amazing—stone-ground cheese grits topped with sautéed shrimp, enhanced by a flavorful mix of peppers and bacon. Chef Jeff and his team use fresh sirloin in their chili, and it’s absolutely delicious! The portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The food is exceptional, and the concept behind it is truly inspiring. I now volunteer here regularly. Chef Jeff and his wife, Julie, have a mission: "Our mission is to feed, educate, and serve our community so that they may 'taste and see that the Lord is good'” (Psalm 34:8). Customers can choose to: 1) pay what they can afford, 2) pay the standard price for a similar restaurant, or 3) pay a little extra to help those who are less fortunate. This creates a beautiful and fulfilling experience. They are open for lunch from 11 AM to 2 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. If you’re pressed for time, I recommend making a reservation and letting the hostess know. Diners are seated using a "paced method" to ensure the volunteer staff isn’t overwhelmed, but any wait is certainly worth it! Be sure to try the pour-over coffee or refreshing lemonade, and sample small plates like bruschetta or farro salad, as well as main dishes such as the apple bacon sandwich, crispy potatoes, burgers, shrimp and grits, and chili. And don’t overlook the dessert—it’s indulgent! I can’t express enough how much I adore this place!"
