"We were visiting Austin Texas from Detroit and happened to stumble upon this pizza restaurant and we agreed it was probably the best pizza we ever had. We didn’t realize it was based off Detroit style pizza at first and laughed that we were trying something we could get at home. But it was honestly way better then actual Detroit style pizza. The staff are all friendly and helpful and have great recommendations for new customers. Our waiter, Daggar went above and beyond to help us pick a perfect pizza, cheese bread, and drink selections. He was fabulous and highly contributed to our great experience. As 2 people from Detroit, we would highly recommend visiting this pizzeria and location if in the area. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Visiting Austin on vacation and my friend brought me to this restaurant but neglected to tell me that the employees were Deaf or were fluent in sign language. As an interpreter I was thrilled to know we were supporting a Deaf owned business and employees. I was having a hard time deciding and the cashier helped me make a decision on the chicken basil pesto and holy moly was she right it was delicious. I had never had a savory crepe only sweet crepes for breakfast or dessert. I can't wait to go back one more time before I leave to try their dessert crepes. "If you 're in a pinch and jonesin for italian food, this is your spot. First impression: Luby 's of italian food. To be fair, Mandola 's doesn 't have the food sitting out buffet style and someone plating it for you. Not knocking it, it just reminded me of going to Luby 's and standing in line to order your food. The line moves quite fast; ponder the menu while you wait inline and by the time you finish and decide what you 'll have, you 'll be at the counter. You place your order at the counter then go grab a seat. Their service is pretty speedy, as our side salad order was there in no time. The entrees came out before we got done with salads.The salad wasn 't as fresh; felt it was made earlier in the day and refrigerated. Not saying it was bad, just not as fresh as freshly cut greens.We had thin spaghetti, one with shrimp one with 1 meatball. The shrimp were fresh and the meatball was a baseball sized and pretty tasty. The sauce, in my humble opinion, lacked flavor. From the description of the ingredients, garlic, basil and olive oil, I 'd expect a pretty tasty dish oozing garlic, basil and olive oil but all those flavors were lacking. Also, it seemed as when the pasta was cooked, it wasn 't cooked in enough salt. IDK, maybe it 's me and maybe I 'm used how I cook my pasta and sauces. Either way, dish was good, just added a dash of salt and pepper.It has quite a steady number of patrons so it must be good and maybe I went on an off night. I may return to try something else."

"Vaqueros is a fantastic Tex-Mex restaurant run by the same team behind Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. When you're in the right mood, it’s easy to feel like you've been transported to another time and place. The atmosphere gives off the authentic vibe of a ranchero on the border. The food is consistently good, and the portions are generous. You'll find classic Tex-Mex flavors, complete with plenty of cheese, chips, and salsa that are all done right. They also have a lovely outdoor seating area and a well-stocked bar. Be sure to add Vaqueros to your list the next time you're craving classic Tex-Mex. Their house margaritas are quite enjoyable. As for parking, there's usually plenty available, but it can get a bit tricky during peak hours."

"Teníamos las gorditas, el pibil y el mole con pato. Los dos primeros platos no tenían nada de especial más allá de la masa de alta calidad de las gorditas y tortillas. Desafortunadamente, parecen pensar que todo lo que necesitas son dos tortillas para terminar un plato completo. El lunar en sí era bastante bueno, oscuro, profundo, rico y en capas. El pato estaba bien cocido y era una combinación demasiado rica para la salsa. Asegúrese de obtener al menos una orden adicional de tortillas, porque definitivamente no le darán lo suficiente para pasar la comida"
