"We came around the 27th. celebrating my son's birthday. We had seen their menu online and found exactly what was going to eat, making it easier for us. There were eight of us. We had selected some really cool cocktails they had on their menu. And we said there that they did not have their fleet license until April 1, because they forgot to pay some fees? That was a bummer. No alcohol, beer or wine. Over 4%. They were also from a lot of food. My husband was excited to try her lamb and they were off. They are also from another dish that my son wanted to get, and they were also from rice. The food was pretty good. The shrimps and grits were definitely not something I wouldn't get back. It was dry and had no sauce on it. Our waiter was kind. The local bee is fantastic. I feel like there are some management problems there? I had heard it was under new management, so I die to try it again, but it's still not a place, I would go back anytime soon. It is a shame because the place is really cool and they have an amazing menu. You just have to make sure that they actually have the ingredients for eating on their menu."

Eating was terrible. Very long wait for very bad food. Most of them were not to eat.

No wine, $50 steak was tough and bland, and the pecan chicken was more like cafeteria chicken fried steak. It’s a cute place and had a nice vibe. Everything was very slow and they seem to need new management.

We were disappointed. The house is interesting, but was not well heated and it was a cool evening. The food, while very tasty, was served lukewarm. They were made of rice, lobster and lamb, and that was Wednesday night. Ver carta

Don't eat here! No one welcomed us at the reception, we had to find someone to put us for our reservation. We waited 20 minutes for someone to ask for our drinks and appetizers. All we ordered was out. Finally on a beer and soda water. Beer served warm, appetizer seemed like it was microwave definitely fresh, bread was stale. Terrible service and food. We'll never eat here again. It is regrettable because it has a beautiful environment and has so much potential, it felt as if all care and motivation have been lost by employees and possibly the owner.

My wife had a ribeye that was on special for $50 and it was totally unimpressive. I had salmon and green beans. The green beans were cold, not warm, cold. The salmon was warm and unimpressive also. The service was okay. The atmosphere, nothing special. Bottom line, we both had water, no appetizers and spent $100 on a completely unimpressive meal. I don’t mind paying for a good meal but this definitely wasn’t it. At the restaurant, I don’t complain, I just don’t return. I also don’t usually do reviews but felt compelled to save others from this experience.

"We started with the fig and goat cheese bruschetta, and I ordered the Truffle Gnocchi while my husband chose the special: Veal Wild Boar Bolognese. They brought us a basket of freshly baked bread accompanied by a butter that seemed infused with rosemary and basil—oh my, I could have just eaten that bread and butter all day! The bruschetta bread was slightly overcooked, but the flavor combination of fig, goat cheese, and arugula was fantastic. My gnocchi was rich, creamy, and melted in my mouth. The flavor was perfectly balanced and left me wanting more. The Veal Wild Boar Bolognese was also a flavor sensation! The meats were so tender they literally melted in our mouths. I really appreciated the Bolognese; the seasoning was spot-on, and I honestly can’t recall the last time I had Italian food where there wasn’t a pool of water or oil separating from the sauce. This sauce was just right. To top off our delightful meal, we ordered a couple of cannoli to take home for later. Even after a three-hour car ride and sitting on our counter for a few hours, the shells maintained their perfect crispness, and the filling wasn’t overly sweet. I have to say, their cannoli reminded me of Mike’s Pastry in Boston—a rarity for cannoli! The staff was friendly and attentive, greeting us right away and ensuring we were well taken care of without being intrusive. The décor was minimal yet inviting, and the restaurant was very clean and cozy. I’ve seen several reviews mentioning noise levels, and while it did get louder as more patrons arrived and music started playing outside, I thought it was reflective of the vibrant atmosphere typically found in Italian restaurants. After all, where in Italy would you find a quiet eatery? It’s all part of the experience of living and enjoying life! For those who prefer a milder dining experience, Olive Garden is just down the road. I highly recommend Frankie’s to anyone seeking great food and an authentic Italian experience in the U.S.!"
