Mountain Mike's Pizza

I want to give a big shout-out to Issac, who works here and kindly let me borrow his phone for over an hour. He was incredibly understanding when I accidentally locked my keys in my car and had faith that I would do the right thing. I can't thank him enough for his generosity! Also, a quick tip: check out Mountaint Mike's on Wednesdays for an all-you-can-eat deal for just $10, which includes pizza, salad, dessert pizza, and soft drinks!

We had an excellent experience! Although we arrived a bit late for the pizza buffet, the staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to get started anyway. The pizza was fantastic and fresh, with plenty to choose from. The staff was wonderfully friendly and attentive. The pizza itself was delicious and expertly made, with a great sauce and a variety of toppings. Plus, the crust was perfectly crispy. It’s definitely my favorite pizza!

I walked in today, at 12:30pm, and asked for a slice of cheese pizza to go. The nice younger lady looks at me then looks at the empty pizza by the slice heating box, and says tells me that they were waiting for a single slice order till they made the for slices pizzas. So id have to wait 15 minutes since I was the first to order a slice. Huh? Why would you have a big banner outside your establishment advertising pizza by the slice, only to have no pizza by the slice ready? I took my elsewhere. Ver carta

Living just a few blocks away, this place is truly the best food option within walking distance for us. Sometimes we opt for delivery, but it’s always delicious no matter how we order. We are definitely happy customers! We're going to be sad when we move out of the area soon, and we hope to find another Mountain Mike's with the same welcoming staff and amazing food near our new home, just like the one on 5th Walnut in Chico. If I could give a negative review, I would. Don 't even know where to start.. I 've had numerous problems with the staff here. About 3 months ago, the manager was not only very rude but messed up on our order and didn 't bring the ranch (that we paid $5 extra for). Then today, I order a pepperoni pizza and I get Olive and sausage. When calling to get the damn pizza that I ordered, they tell me I can purchase it, for a discount . I advise going to the mountain mikes on mangrove. I will never go back here. They are rude and incompetent... seriously, how hard is it to make a pepperoni pizza?

Horrible Service I love the Mountain Mike's chain. I think they make some of the best pizzas. But this Chico location has the worst service I've come across. I called in for delivery and they quoted me a 90 minute wait time. I get it, sometimes they get slammed. That's fine, I'll wait for my pizza. But no, over 2 hours later my pizza shows up. It's cold. It had obviously been sitting out for over an hour. It's obvious that they weren't slammed, or they wouldn't have been able to make my pizza right when I called. Let me count the ways in which I was disappointed with both the service and quality of Mountain Mike's Pizza. I stood at the counter with another customer for several minutes before someone pops out from the back or even acknowledges us. I was meeting some people so I just order a snack of jalapeno poppers and a soda. None of the sides have a price listed on the overhead sign but I order the poppers anyways. The poppers were inconsistently warm indicating that they were microwaved, to which the rubber like texture of the jalapenos support. This restaurant clearly doesn't have mores that know what,they are doing .or care to do there jobs correctly we reserved a room to,have our rehearsal dinner at,3 months in advance and some how they seemed to,have not put us in there system and now we have no where to do this at because it's graduation weekend and rainin we are in a situation that will leave a bad memory in the process of us getting married This is not a family restaurant and the workers are incompetent The manager clearly does not know how to run a restaurant and won't even let us reserve tables because it's graduation weekend . So bad...completely unrecognizable from any other Mountain Mike 's restaurant I 've ever been to. We went to this location instead of Mangrove because we figured it would be less of a crowd at 6:00 on a Saturday night. Completely empty restaurant, no AC (or its just a crappy unit), dirty tables everywhere, and we had to holler back to get an employee to come to the counter to order. Within 5 minutes of ordering we asked to have it boxed up to go. Miserable employees, no customer service. One employee was taking breadsticks out of the salad bar basket...another came out of the bathroom holding his stomach proclaiming That wasn 't good!
