We had an excellent experience with outstanding service and a unique and engaging menu! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Food and service was great. Music was to loud to have conversation with the person next to you. But overall it was very nice and will return.

First time! Enjoyed quant setting decor. Delicious seasonal drink, fried pimento cheese balls, meatloaf/crispy Brussels/mashed potatoes (me) and tuna/green beans/risetto (hubby), and funnel cake for dessert!

they were closed! there were a series of people who had kept up. no apologies or anything. I traveled from dayton. that will never happen again. show at least the closure in the app, the phone messages or the door!

Overall, I had a good experience at the restaurant. I ordered the catfish dinner, which came with mac and cheese and greens. The mac and cheese was excellent, but the greens were quite bland, as if they were straight from a can—totally lacking in flavor. This was the second reservation in a row that I booked on Open Table where the restaurant was closed. The first was on my birthday and Open Table was taking and confirming reservations for a restaurant on a Tuesday evening. The family showed up at the restaurant only to find that the place is never open on Tuesday. For Mother's Day we booked and confirmed a reservation for Mz Jade's Soul Food restaurant. We drove 50 minutes with a 6 day old baby in the car only to find that this restaurant was permanently closed. Way to ruin Mother's Day Open Table! I understand that mistakes can occur but my recent experience with Open Table has been totally unacceptable. They need to be better than this!

Bottom line is that we love going to Gracie’s. However, maybe it was a bad food night or something. I got the shrimp and grits and it was slightly clumpy and under seasoned, my date got the pimento smash burger and the burger was dry with no garnishes, just pimento cheese and some mystery sauce, no lettuce, tomato, onion…etc. overall it was meh food. But what they lacked in food, they more than made up for service. We were handled efficiently and very nicely. Several times we were stopped at and talked to and not just the cursory “everything okay”. Follow up email is what is Open Table’s process to verify vendors. A group of us are really wanting to know since this was almost a traumatic event because of people coming from various places.
