The portions here are huge! Everything looks and tastes amazing. We shared a 6-inch shrimp hoagie and it was more than enough for both of us. Customers order at the counter and their food is brought to their table. Ver carta

I was recommended this place and I regret nothing! It was a bit busy, but that was expected because it was lunchtime. The staff were very friendly and the food came quickly and it was delicious! I highly recommend it.

Back in LA after many years away and heard this was a great place for oysters. Well, had the shrimp/oyster combo and was so great. Lots of food for the price. Excellent quality of shrimp oysters and the cooking was just right. Service was friendly and quick. Would recommend highly. Ver carta

super relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. order them at the counter and then supply them with food (fast, also on a busy lunch hour). muffalettas are hearty and amazing, the quarter size is more than enough for the average appetit of the person. they were out of crumbs and oysters, but the shrimp po'boy still hit the ground.

My husband suggested Ponchartrain Po-Boys for lunch. We usually get split our lunches so that we can sample more dishes. He got the fried fish platter with a cup of gumbo. I got the fried shrimp poboy. We sampled an order of fried sweet potatoes.The food was plentiful and delicious!!The value was good and the place was very busy.

"I ordered online and got a roast beef Po-Boy, dressed with extra gravy. I was really enjoying it until I discovered that it came with a bunch of French fries inside the sandwich. I wasn't expecting that at all and hadn't noticed the fries would be included with the meat and gravy. After my first bite, I had to take the fries out to fully enjoy the delicious roast beef and gravy. It was great without the fries. If I had known about that little surprise, I might have been better prepared. Regardless, I still enjoyed the meal!"

"We stopped into Leonardo’s for lunch after seeing a friend’s recommendation on social media. As we entered the restaurant, I noticed it was busy, but not uncomfortably so. When we were seated, the waitress brought fresh bread and prepared an olive oil dip. We ordered a couple of glasses of Sicilian red wine, which we enjoyed. For starters, we ordered small salads. The Caesar dressing was very tasty and the salad complements (red onions, an olive and tomato) were just right. For our meal we ordered a kid’s pizza, which was big enough to split. The pizza was incredible. The crust had a nice crunch and the tomato sauce was different in a good way. We also ordered the cheese ravioli. It was a good portion and the sauce was outstanding. I had the salmon piccata. The salmon was cooked to medium well and was tender. The linguine and piccata sauce were good and paired well with the salmon. There is a bakery attached to the restaurant from which the desserts are sourced. We ordered a few gelatos and a couple of cannolis. All were excellent. The service was great considering how busy the restaurant was. We enjoyed our experience."

"The food was excellent as always. I had the crab stuffed soft shell crab over cheese grits with asparagus -delicious! We hot the eggplant medallions and trio appetizer and they were perfection. The watermelon slide cocktail was light and refreshing . My family ordered filets , potatoes au gratin, and a few other sides everything was great . Unfortunately, this was the only time we’ve experienced bad service . Our waitress and water waiter were no where on site for most of our meal."

"4 of us went for lunch on Saturday it was busy but Dezi, our waitress was excellent. She handled it with ease. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive which we understood due to the crowd. But what happened to the food? Both the quality and the quantity were horrible. I had the fried chicken sandwich and I thought they were doing an old Wendy’s commercial with the old lady where’s the beef in my case chicken. If there was 2 ounces of chicken that was a lot. I didn’t realize you could cut chicken that thin and I think they counted the red onion slivers. And with tax and tip that’s a $19 for bread. We’ve been coming here for years and years. But the last few times the food quality and a fair quantity keeps going downhill. Also the hamburger tasted old We won’t be back for a long, long time."

"The only downside is that parking can be difficult—you may need to make a few laps or park a few blocks away and walk. However, it's definitely worth it for the delicious food you'll be enjoying. North Shore has truly impressed me with the hidden culinary gems on this side of the lake, and Hambone has become the highlight of our brunch adventures with my group of eight friends. We gladly make the drive across the Causeway knowing it will end with satisfied appetites and cherished memories at Hambone. As for accessibility, there’s a ramp leading up to the building, although there is a gravel seating area outside that requires some navigation. For those with dietary restrictions, there are plenty of vegetarian options, and the staff has been great at explaining the ingredients to ensure there are no surprises when your food arrives."
